This is a bit sudden, but Uni is having surgery today.
Recently, we discovered some small stones in Uni’s bladder, even though he’s already on a special prescription diet designed to dissolve certain types of stones.
Uni had been getting regular checkups after recovering from cystitis, so even our vet was puzzled by how suddenly the stones appeared.
Our vet determined that the stones are a type that can’t be dissolved through diet, so they need to be surgically removed and analyzed.
Thankfully, Uni is doing well and acting like his usual self. But if the stones block his urinary tract, it could become life-threatening. That’s why we decided to have surgery as soon as possible.
He’ll likely be hospitalized for 3–7 days, which is a bit of a long stay. The surgery itself isn’t considered particularly complicated, but we're still very worried.
Please keep Uni in your thoughts and prayers

Gotta give credit to Gran Turismo 7. Unlike Forza Horizon 6, players have the unlimited freedom to do wacky shit like this without getting falsely banned, and I love it.

PC gaming is growing faster than consoles, and Newzoo analyst Emmanuel Rosier believes having more choice is a big reason why.
“PC players have a bit more choice,” Rosier explains, pointing to Steam as an easier starting point for indie developers looking to reach players before expanding to consoles.
PC also offers more variety, mod support, different control options and a strong free-to-play market.
More devs, especially in Asia, are investing in PC gaming, while PlayStation and Xbox are seeing slower growth compared to PC and mobile.

GOG wants to bring physical PC games back. The idea is to let players buy boxed versions of games directly from their GOG library and have them delivered to their homes.
“We need to think about logistics. We need to think about storage,”
The company would also need approval from publishers to produce and sell physical copies.
GOG has been discussing the idea for years, but there are still plenty of challenges to overcome.
“I really hope that at some point we will be able to do it,”
Mark your calendars, fellas! November 2, 2026!
