The session was delivered by Dr. Ayan Pal, Assistant Director (Vigilance), under the chairmanship of Dr. T. K. Rout, Chief Vigilance Officer, Textiles Committee. The session sensitised employees to the importance of adhering to conduct rules while discharging their official duties, emphasising integrity, accountability, transparency and ethical behaviour in public service. Surat to the World: Strengthening Textile Exports Through Industry Engagement 🧵🌐 An interactive meeting with exporters, merchants and manufacturers of the textile industry was held in Surat on 23 October 2026, focusing on identifying export opportunities, addressing industry challenges and enhancing the global competitiveness of Surat’s textile sector. The meeting was graced by the presence of Ms. Alakhnanda Dayal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles; Shri Amit Kumar, Director, Ministry of Textiles; Shri Tejas Parmar, District Magistrate, Surat; Shri Abhimanyu Sharma, Joint Director, Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT); and Shri Kartikay Dhanda, Secretary, Textiles Committee. 🤝 Strengthening Ladakh’s Pashmina & Textile Heritage | MoU Signed at Pashmina Conclave 2026 A significant milestone for Ladakh’s textile and artisanal heritage! The Textiles Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and the Industries & Commerce Department, Union Territory of Ladakh, formalised a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the inaugural session of Pashmina Conclave 2026 on 23 October 2026. The MoU was exchanged between Dr. Tapan Kumar Rout, Director (MR), Textiles Committee, and Shri Himanshu Gupta, Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, UT of Ladakh, in the august presence of Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, UT of Ladakh. This collaboration aims to strengthen institutional cooperation, enhance testing, certification and quality assurance, and empower Pashmina artisans and stakeholders associated with wool, handlooms and GI-registered products of the region. राजभाषा हिन्दी के संवर्धन में वस्त्र समिति का सम्मान! 📍 नई दिल्ली | 22 अक्टूबर 2026 माननीय संसदीय राजभाषा समिति की तीसरी उपसमिति द्वारा 22 अक्टूबर 2026 को द लीला पैलेस, नई दिल्ली में आयोजित राजभाषा निरीक्षण कार्यक्रम में वस्त्र समिति ने सहभागिता की। इस निरीक्षण के दौरान वस्त्र समिति, क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय, गुरुग्राम ने शासकीय पत्राचार, प्रशासनिक गतिविधियों एवं आधिकारिक कार्यों में हिन्दी के प्रयोग को बढ़ावा देने हेतु किए गए प्रयासों और उपलब्धियों को प्रस्तुत किया। इस राजभाषा निरीक्षण कार्यक्रम में वस्त्र समिति सहित कुल 12 कार्यालयों ने सहभागिता की। इस दौरान भारत सरकार की राजभाषा नीति के कार्यान्वयन तथा शासकीय कार्यों में हिन्दी के प्रयोग एवं प्रसार की प्रगति की समीक्षा की गई। राजभाषा हिन्दी के प्रोत्साहन एवं सरकारी कामकाज में इसके प्रयोग को सुदृढ़ करने की दिशा में किए गए सराहनीय प्रयासों के लिए वस्त्र समिति, क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय, गुरुग्राम को माननीय समिति द्वारा ‘संतोषजनक प्रमाणपत्र’ (Satisfactory Certificate) प्रदान किया गया। यह सम्मान वस्त्र समिति के लिए गर्व का विषय है और भारत सरकार की राजभाषा नीति के प्रभावी कार्यान्वयन के प्रति इसकी प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है। वस्त्र समिति राजकीय कार्यों में हिन्दी के उत्तरोत्तर प्रयोग एवं प्रसार के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत है। #वस्त्रसमिति #राजभाषाहिन्दी #TextilesCommittee #MinistryOfTextiles #HindiPakhwada
