Let’s call a spade a spade.
In addition to the reasons listed below, a big part of why we lost the midterms is because of John Thune and the RINO Swamp.
Trump won the popular vote and we gave the GOP full control of DC.
And what did Thune do?
Blocked Voter ID.
Prevented recess appointments.
Slow walked the MAGA agenda.
He must be primaried next election.
Here’s why we lost:
-Iran war
-Diesel prices
-Gas prices
-Housing prices
-Food prices
Here’s why America is not over:
-We control the White House
-6-3 Supreme Court
-We control the Executive branch (DOJ, FBI, DHS, ICE, HHS, State etc)
-We control the military
-We have the biggest right wing, independent media machine in history that now has a true enemy to fight
-We have free speech on the internet
If we fix most of the reasons why we lost, we’ll do a lot better in 2028.
Let the new fight begin.

If you really care about this country, this is one of the areas where your attention should be right now. @DataRepublican is exactly right. The greatest obstacle they face to a complete power grab is the Sec of War, Pete Hegseth. He has rebuilt a military that will stand by the constitution & is comitted to the oath every member takes. Hegseth does not back down or fear his enemies because he what he fears is God. They need him out of the way so badly - which should tell you just how important it is to stop them. Read the thread. John Thune should resign in disgrace.
Senator John Thune has been Senate Republican Leader for two years and has nothing to show for it.
He had a Republican House, Republican Senate and Republican President and he delivered failure at every opportunity.
Now he wants another two years as Republican leader of the US Senate. Why? He has zero goals to accomplish anything. He has zero desire to win anything. What is he even there for?
At lease House Speaker Mike Johnson knew his time was over and declined to run again after the losses. John Thune simply doesn't know when to go. Nobody wants him to stay.

This is how our elections are STOLEN. This is not possible in any real world scenario. It is plain and simple. They cheated massively. Oregon had a net population gain of 36,530 since 2020 - 100% of which are international immigrants.
Yet, in that same time period registered a net gain of 263,459 new "voters."
👀Look:
The first image is a chart of Oregon's net population change since April 2020.
Since then, net migration is flat at -670. International immigration is staggering at +56,700. The birth / death ratio is also alarming at -19,500. The net population gain is +36,530.
The 36,530 net population gain is ALL INTERNATIONAL IMMIGRANTS.
Now, look at the next two images. It's the growth, year over year, of active registered voters in Oregon since 2020 and the current stated active registered voters for this 2026 mid-term election - straight from the Oregon SOS website.
We've had a population increase of 36k international immigrants, since 2020, with 263,459 new active voter registrations in the same time period.
How?
Tell me: how exactly can voter registrations grow 700% larger than population growth of made up of 100% non-citizens?
None of this is believable. None of this is legit.
