Police Officer Sunny Lov , #5892 - End of Watch: November 4, 1990
Police Officer Sunny Lov was struck and killed by a stolen car while directing traffic around a crash scene at the North Central Expressway near Meadow Road. The driver of a stolen vehicle drove through a line of road flares and struck Officer Lov, who was thrown 119 feet into the opposite lanes of traffic. He died at the scene.
The subject driving the vehicle was found a few hours later after abandoning the wrecked vehicle. He was charged with murder and subsequently sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Officer Lov, who was fluent in six languages, escaped the killing fields of Cambodia and came to the United States to start a new life that was cut short just two years into his career with the Dallas Police Department. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and two sons.

The Dallas Police Department is requesting the public's help to locate Natalie Armstrong.
Natalie was last seen on foot in the 9300 block of Whistle Stop Place on October 21, 2026, at approximately 10:08 p.m. Natalie is described as a 13-year-old girl, standing 5' 3" tall, weighing 135 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, and white shoes. She may be in need of assistance. Anyone with information as to Natalie's whereabouts is asked to contact the Dallas Police Department by calling 9-1-1 or 214-671-4268. Please reference case number 155505-2026.
