So update, regarding the waves of DeFi attacks coming from people using advanced AI models to inspect for exploits, and how that’s affected us. We did notice an unrelated exploit manifested on TezFin @TezosFinance. Fortunately, it was small enough that only I myself took the hit financially and we were able to pause the contracts thereafter. Pausing the contracts when we did actually prevented the Youves oracle attack from hitting TezFin, as that came a few days later. Repayments and withdrawals for the v3 contracts are now available. While we do have an upgraded v3.1 version of the contracts ready and are very confident in their security, we have not simply rushed to deploy them. We’re continuing to conduct internal audits to be sure. Moreover, as we have employed the use of the Acurast/Ubinetic oracle as well, we want to be certain that that oracle exploit has been corrected or otherwise select an alternative, before we bring the new contracts to market. Big picture, I would say this is very healthy for the #Tezos ecosystem. Every blockchain ecosystem is having to deal with this issue right now. We will be able to look back and say that this hit us at a time when it was so much less costly. That the bill we had to pay was much smaller than others. So there are a lot of blessings in disguise to recognize here. I, of course, still strongly believe in Tezos DeFi and I believe it has the potential to become the largest DeFi ecosystem of all. Tezos is the best ecosystem for DeFi for many reasons. As the industry has been starting to look towards the strength of formal verification to raise confidence in security, Tezos stands apart from other blockchains as that is one of our seminal advantages. It’s important we use this moment for a refresh and to return to first principles. #Tezos
