the-christian-walk.blogspot.…
We serve a God who never fails to keep His promises...a God of perfect goodness and grace and love. In today's message, we see an agreement established between Solomon and Hiram, the king of Tyre, with the latter making a proclamation which reminds us of how important it is to take time to give thanks to the Lord.
Wisdom from the Proverbs...
The Lord detests the way of the wicked but He loves those who pursue righteousness.
Proverbs 15:9
Blessed words from the Psalms...
The heavens praise Your wonders, O Lord, Your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones. For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord? Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings?
Psalm 88:5-6
From the words of Paul...
"For he who was a slave when he was called by the Lord is the Lord's freedman; similarly, he who was a free man when he was called is Christ's slave. You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men."
1 Corinthians 7:22-23
