Hey @AvantiWestCoast - it should be illegal for three coaches on a packed London Euston to Glasgow Central to have no air con in a heatwave.
You should declassify prem and 1st. As 30c heat is unbearable and utterly brutal. Price is not a factor, being decent humans is.
Hey @AvantiWestCoast - coach B on the 7:30pm from Euston to Glasgow. Air conditioning is non functional and you are melting your travellers.
Who knew that a ultra lightweight portable keyboard with an integrated cover would be my best productivity boost for the month?
Not me.
But the Logi Keys2Go version 2 is damn good (but it is more eye wateringly more expensive than it should be).

I do not own any rights to Archetype or Transgression so that means I can not do anything like add them to Spotify or re-release them. Please share this so I don’t have to keep answering this question
Watching an old episode of the x-files which introduced Victor Tooms. I remember watching this when it first came out. They said if they did not solve the case and capture Tooms, it would 2023 before they would see him again.
Wild!
Well that is a doozy.

Brilliant… the releases coming thick and fast!
Ollama 0.2 is here! Concurrency is now enabled by default.
ollama.com/download
This unlocks 2 major features:
Parallel requests
Ollama can now serve multiple requests at the same time, using only a little bit of additional memory for each request. This enables use cases such as:
- Handling multiple chat sessions at the same time
- Hosting code completion LLMs for your team
- Processing different parts of a document simultaneously
- Running multiple agents at the same time
Run multiple models
Ollama now supports loading different models at the same time. This improves several use cases:
- Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): both the embedding and text completion models can be loaded into memory simultaneously.
- Agents: multiple versions of an agent can now run simultaneously
- Running large and small models side-by-side
Models are automatically loaded and unloaded based on requests and how much GPU memory is available.
Finally catching on season 2 of the Bear. Jamie Lee Curtis delivers a masterclass performance as Carmys mum. So so good.
Digging the new Logi keys2go version 2. Weighs nothing, good typing experience, and cover built in. Ultrathin in the backpack. Used with iPad and MacBook while on the go today. Minimal typing speed degradation.
I am a fan.

Remember when Walt Disney World offered merchandise pickup and delivery services if you purchased an item inside one of the parks, you could have it shipped to the front of the park to pick up before you left for the day or have it delivered back to your Disney Resorts hotel...

The entire third act of Rogue One is EASILY some of the best Star Wars that we’ve ever gotten, and I’ll forever stand by that.
The Battle of Scarif remains as visually stunning as it is incredibly exciting and intense.

I have a new piece up. It's a bit of a rant, even for me, so buckle in.
A lot of "thought leaders" have been making their mortgages lately off of bits on how AI is going to replace software engineers, particularly entry-level engineers.

It's easy to generate code, but not so easy to generate good code. Contributor @mipsytipsy makes the case for hiring junior developers and treating your engineering team like a delicate ecosystem, and why GenAI tools can only take so devs far.

so yesterday we had this guy come to our house because the city is trying (for the 3rd time) to put fibre optics cables in the road. he tells me that fibre optics cables are great because they're "completely lossless". Of course not, I say, more baffled than anything. He insists that fibre optics cables are lossless and explains to me what induction is.
I decided to not argue with the guy because really I just want fibre optics cables and it's not my concern where they put their repeaters, but I now wonder just how much nonsense these fibre optics companies are spreading.

Disabled by @marksandspencer yet again ‼️Now I can no longer shop independently because the chiller cabinet doors pull toward you & these ridiculous racks at the base get caught on wheels & prevent you getting close enough to reach handles let alone food inside 🧵
