Double A Battery (Makoto Gamblin)

Top 4 Orlando Regional! Started the day thinking that I was out of the running for top cut but then I won every single match in Phase 2😭 Glad to have done it with my favorite deck ever right before rotation😙 +$5000, +300 points, +108 packs, celebration stream on Tuesday🥳

Baby’s first League Cup win🏆 +50 championship points, +$80 store credit, +1 mat🙌 (yes, I won a Regional Top 8 mat before a Cup Champion mat😭)

3–2-3 at Louisville Regionals, lost the opening coin flip in all 8 of my rounds and had a Game 1 mulligan in all but 1 round 🥲 Seems like nearly every meta deck is functionally playing a best of 2 set now - is there any deck (like Miraidon/Joltik Box) that barely ever ties rn?

First time doing this but I completely spaced out on figuring out housing for Louisville Regionals 😭 Does anyone need a +1 on their housing to bring down costs? Willing to sleep on the floor if necessary, can provide decent quality practice as a regional semifinalist 👉👈

🎂

First Challenge win of da season with Hammy Pulty🥇 Not sure how hard I’ll be chasing an invite this season - Hoping I can fall in love with something as strong and fun as pre-rotation Joktik Box at some point🙏 Also the card shop had an adorable Pomeranian ☺️

2026 Season Recap: •Ranked 312 in US/Canada •Top 4 Orlando Regional •Highest placing Joltik Box at a 2026 NA Major Next season goals: •Win a League Cup (very funny that I have a Regional Top 8 mat but not a Cup Champ mat) •Max out Cups/Challenges •Qualify for Worlds

3-3-2 for an abysmal showing at NAIC but I still maxed out prizing for Switch Series and had the best non-tournament experience all season. Unfortunately fell short of a Worlds invite this year but not too pressed since I didn’t try for one until after Orlando. Season recap soon!

Got tired of playing matchup roulette, turned to the dark side and started playing Dragapult🥀 Made a huge misplay that ended my chances for Day 2 at Indy but I still managed to win the Friday Challenge and Top 4 the Sunday Cup, which got me much needed points. Next stop NAIC!🔜

3-3-2 finish at LA Regionals, only matched into 1 Pult with a deck designed to beat Pult. But this cat led me to their squad of cat homies and I got to see the Braves beat the Dodgers with a local homie so I’d say it was a net positive weekend 🙂

⌨️I’m in😤

Mr. Top 4@Orlando gets Top 4 at a League Cup 🤪 Been lost on what to play since Miraidon rotated and was missing a couple cards for Slop Box so I peeped @Ian__Robb’s Raging Bolt guide early this morning and it got me 1st seed for cut. Unfortunately got Dipplin’d at the end 😅

Whiffed both waves despite queueing the second registration went up, what can ya do 🥲
