Fun fact: in 2020 Florida Republicans paid (illegally) a man with the same last name as the Democrat incumbent to run in an effort to confuse voters and they actually succeeded. The Democrat lost by 32 votes and the sham candidate received 6,000 votes. Election was not overturned.

Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."

A couple days ago, I posted jobs numbers from the past 6 presidents, 3 Republican (Bush I, Bush II, and Trump) and 3 Democratic (Clinton, Obama, and Biden). Over 20 years, nearly 50 million jobs were added under the 3 Democratic presidents, whereas only 2 million have been added under the aforementioned Republicans, over the course of 17 years, 8 months. A good percentage of MAGA responders said something along the lines of, "The Democrat Party only added government jobs! Look at the private sector!"
Very well.
First, let's look at public sector or government jobs.
George H.W. Bush (R, 4 years): +1.127M
Bill Clinton (D, 8 years): +1.934M
George W. Bush (R, 8 years): +1.744M
Barack Obama (D, 8 years): -263k
Donald Trump I (R, 4 years): -575k
Joe Biden (D, 4 years): +1.816M
Donald Trump II (R, 1 year, 8 months): -230k
Democratic Presidents (20 years): +3.487M
Republican Presidents (17 years, 8 months): +2.066M
Difference: Democrats +1.421M/Republicans -1.421M
Not much difference. Now let's move onto the private sector.
George H.W. Bush (R, 4 years): +1.502M
Bill Clinton (D, 8 years): +20.979M
George W. Bush (R, 8 years): -368k
Barack Obama (D, 8 years): +11.812M
Donald Trump I (R, 4 years): -2.19M
Joe Biden (D, 4 years): +13.589M
Donald Trump II (R, 1 year, 8 months): +1.006M
Democratic Presidents (20 years): +46.380M
Republican Presidents (17 years, 8 months): -50k
Difference: Democrats +46.430M/Republicans -46.430M
That's right, over the past 37 years, 8 months, Republican presidents are actually underwater, as far as private-sector jobs go, whereas Democrats are 46 million+ above it. No matter what the GOP tries to sell you on the old, tired narrative that they're better for the economy, the numbers tell a completely different story.

Whoa. The U.S. added 90% fewer jobs in 2025 than originally reported.
That’s not a rounding error. That’s a massive difference between the economy Americans were told we had and the one we actually had.

Trump: "Putin has no respect for this person."
Clinton: "That's because he'd rather have a puppet as president of the United States. You're willing to spout the Putin line, sign up for his wish list, break up NATO, do whatever he wants to do."

There's always a catch with Trump! I wrote earlier in the week that the Trump regime had unilaterally signed up tens of millions of children for Trump accounts, even if parents did not want the accounts.
But what are they getting now?
"The catch? Children and their parents can’t pick the stocks or reject donated shares, and they can’t sell for five years.
Before last week, Trump Accounts were a novel, optional index-fund investment for children with about seven million sign-ups. The government was seeding newborns’ accounts with $1,000. Employers were pledging contributions to workers’ children. Philanthropists such as Michael and Susan Dell were making cash donations.
Now, after the Treasury Department turned on auto-enrollment and enabled stock donations, Trump Accounts look entirely different."

I usually don’t agree with a lot of things @SenWarren says, but on this one she is 100% correct. Private equity has destroyed SO many storied brands.

BREAKING: 🇺🇸 An investigative journalist has just exposed another Trump crime family SCAM
Donald Trump’s executive order to change “AI” (Artificial Intelligence) into “SI” (Super Intelligence) was a CRIMINAL SCAM to enrich himself and his Epstein class friends.
They pocketed HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of dollars by buying up and creating tens of thousands of .si web domains in the weeks BEFORE the announcement.
Trump used his power as president to force the government and pressure businesses to change their terminology to make him money.
This is a CRIME.
Everything this scumbag does is a rotten scam. This is the most overtly corrupt presidency in history.

TWEEPS: MAGA wants to talk about healthcare fraud? Let's talk about trump pardoning Medicaid and Medicare fraudsters to the tune of $1.3 BILLION DOLLARS, without having to pay back A DIME, while working families lose their coverage.

Here's how many stock trades presidents have made:
Clinton: 0
GW Bush: 0
Obama: 0
Trump's first term: 517
Biden: 0
Trump's second term: 24,000+
Trump is the only President who has traded stocks while sitting in the Oval Office.
He's rigging the system in real time.

So get this:
Alan Dershowitz, the Trump buddy who later became his impeachment attorney, was accused of raping Jane Doe #3 on multiple occasions while she was a minor, after Jeffrey Epstein allegedly forced her to.
Then, Dershowitz played a significant role in negotiating Epstein's Non Prosecution Agreement after his arrest.
Do you know who he negotiated with to get Epstein off? That's right, former Trump Labor Secretary Alex Acosta.
Coincidence or fishy?

This is a video of Donald Trump’s rape victim detailing the sexual assault she endured at the hands of Trump and Jeffrey Epstein when she was 13-years-old.
Republicans and MAGA project because they know deep down Trump is a pedophile and sexual predator.

Who paid for 61 House Members to go to the border?
About 60 House Republicans joined Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on a border trip to Eagle Pass, Texas on Wednesday. The trip is just the latest instance of Johnson getting more vocal about the border, which is increasingly looking like a big 2024 focus for the GOP.
"America is at a breaking point with record levels of illegal immigration," he said at a press briefing after the meeting. " And today, we got a first-hand look at the damage and the chaos the border catastrophe is causing and all of our communities. The situation here and across the country is truly unconscionable." trib.al/NYBxdHy
