No more #EastPalestine toxic train derailments! Join me in urging the @EPA to ban vinyl chloride, a known human carcinogen that's used to make PVC plastic. 115K+ gallons of vinyl chloride were burned in East Palestine. Sign the petition: actionnetwork.org/petitions/… #toxicplastic

so very sad to hear that @TheCleaverCo, which cooked for my wedding, is closing at the end of 2020. A pioneer in sustainability and perfect food. I've always said Mary is the uncredited Alice Waters of the East.
It is with great sadness that we announce that Cleaver Co will be closing at the end of this year. After a lovely, if different, summer season at The Battery and The Green Bottle we simply aren't able to make the finances work until a time when it safe for us to gather again.
I have been extremely fortunate to have learned from, taught, laughed with, and struggled with an outstanding group of people, some of whom have been a part of the business for nearly all of that time.
@TheCleaverCo, @CivicAlliance, and @BCorporation are 100% In #fordemocracy because we believe every American has a voice in our democracy, voting should be safe and accessible to all, and elections should be fair and transparent. CivicAlliance.com/100
