HEY @arkellsmusic @Max_Kerman @NickDika! You're the Artist of the week in Grade 4/5 this week. Thanks for being great examples, advocates, difference makers in our community & wonderful role models for our youth. They will be so inspired #TLDSBlearns #Arkells #Arkellsfans

I can’t get enough of the reactions/postgame coverage of #DALvsSTL #Game7. What a battle. What a story. Great for the game #BigRig

New @DetroitRedWings GM Steve Yzerman is in Grand Rapids for @griffinshockey exit interviews. As he’s walking in to the locker room he stops by @bkaser1 and me, shakes our hands and says “hi I’m Steve”. Unassuming superstars are the best.

If anyone in any position in their life is looking for a role model, look no further. Jerome Iginla is like no other. Well done @NHLFlames #ThankYouIggy #12

It’s still ok to like music you enjoyed ten years ago. Your “15 year old self” doesn’t need to be the person enjoying seeing a band. Music doesn’t need to be something you grow out of.

Talk about an incredible role model for young female hockey players. 👏 Pierre’s tone last night was worthy of the outrage across twitter but she is clearly taking the high road on it.

Players: Coaches know which players have passion. They also know that certain players will never be all in. Passion for the game can’t be taught. Players must love the game & love idea of getting better to love the work it takes to get there. If you don’t love the work, it shows.

KIDS: The higher the level you play, the more FACEOFF INTENSITY becomes an important skill. Many Faceoffs are not won/lost by the Center, but by their Wings. Watch Chris Krieder on this goal. The SJ center "wins" the draw...but Krieder gets possession & gets rewarded with a goal!
