So, it was a dishonest question, right?
Reminder, "norms" are normalised based on acceptance and rejections; in this context, our in/actions make or mar our realities.
We proclaim our uniqueness and inwardly reject regular boxes. Tragicomically, we are ashamed of our legal eccentricities. We hide our oddities to be even with others! Human, funny beings!
"The dilemma is how simultaneously to appear normal and yet allow ourselves to be known."
Same mediocrity, just different shades.
Mediocrity, everywhere you go.
We wrestle not just against one's occasional tendencies to do average work but against the principalities of mediocrities who work aggressively and assiduously against any slightest effort above average!
Of course it is exhausting, having to reason all the time in a universe which wasn't meant to be reasonable.
Kurt Vonnegut
The world is too peopled for one to exaggerate the importance of one's existence. Yes, we matter. You occupy space. Yet, nature abhors vacuum that it constantly fills void(s) created by beings or things.
Truly, there is uniqueness of being; your energy can not be (re)created...
