One of the things that brings me such joy with this #oralhistory project is the smile that comes through from everyone.
Looking forward to getting back on the road now that the weather is improving. Here are some quick snaps from a trip through Lewistown to do a little research on the #littleshell presence there.
The sun is shining and we wrapped up recording yesterday in #missoula. I think we’re taking a break for the Easter holiday to recoup and #reconnoiter Last weekend we were in #butteamerica, listening to stories and enjoying the uniqueness that place offers.
A few more behind the scenes images from our oral history project with the Little Shell nation. As the weather warms up and spring is upon us, we are looking forward to talking with everyone this spring and helping to document the history of the #littleshell people.
We are finally getting started again with interviews this spring collecting oral histories for the Little Shell. Here are some behind the scenes shots from some of the first ones we did in Great Falls last fall.

I joined Little Shell Tribe leaders today to discuss the Census. After becoming federally recognized, the Tribe is eligible to be accurately counted for the first time ever and have access to federal dollars for education, health care, and community planning.
