I saw some fantastic EYFS math @TheCroftPrimary last week.
Alongside high-quality adult-child interactions and teaching, children are exploring, playing and discovering maths every day through their provision.
As @EducEndowFoundn says: “Effective early numeracy approaches typically increase children’s learning by about seven months” showing us how much potential is within our early years environments.
When we weave maths into play, conversation and daily routines, we help children build strong, confident foundations and see maths as a way to understand the world around them.

We had the honour of hosting a trust-wide Spelling Bee competition for our primary schools, and the talent in the room was exceptional. Just wow!
The children showed great resilience, talent, and kindness towards one another. It really was a highlight of my term!

Our History trip to the Roman Corinium Museum was an exciting, hands-on learning experience! Children explored exhibits, answered questions, dressed as Romans, played games, designed mosaics, and even touched real artefacts—adults joined in too! 🏛️🎭👏
