2026/2027 matches thread

Italy is probably only matched by Germany for experience of a football weekend but while supply and demand comes into it the price difference between big games and “lesser games” for the same club is staggering. Cost a fortune for their game v Inter yet this is a steal.

The IFR is just another way of the government controlling every little thing in this country. No way on this earth will it pass. This club will die within 7 months. Mark my words.

Can’t be too far off Bebe, Kleberson and Dong Fangzhou having a go

“The next station will be ALMUFF” It’s pronounced “Alan mouth”, one day I may get on a train where they get it right.

Todays trip to Motherwell v Hearts where the Well’s recent rot didn’t get any better @AdamGittingspt @Joeskelton1620 @Topliss94 @john_nufc42 youtu.be/4xu0dJdYM3s?is=98mb…

I would say I can take losing for whatever reason but the bottom line is, losing is fucking shite and I’m sick of it now. Resigned to what’s coming for both the Heed and Well but I just want to see at least one of them win just once before the season is out. That’s how low it is.

Football this week Tues: @bostonunited training session Sat: @OfficialShots training session

If Gateshead and Motherwell played each other both teams would still lose

Fuck Gateshead, fuck Motherwell. Useless, fucking useless.

I’m gonna have 2 relegations on my hands this season aren’t I? Just fuck off, fed up now, utterly fed up.

Todays trip to @RenfrewFC v @Stirling_Albion in the Scottish Cup where the weather didn’t stand in the way of an enthralling tie @AdamGittingspt @Joeskelton1620 @Topliss94 @john_nufc42 @NonLeagueCrowd youtu.be/XfvxdDtlLY4?is=4ftn…

Shout out to the taxi driver who took me from Paisley Gilmour Street to Renfrew’s ground. Very chatty and even offered me his brolly when we arrived. The Scots are great hosts! 🙌

Shame my original plan of @johnstone_burgh was called off but hopefully in the not too distant future I can get back there and see a game but an enjoyable afternoon was still had at @RenfrewFC who put out SPFL opposition and were a very welcoming club 👏

Renfrew 1-0 up on Stirling Albion but if they go onto win would it really be an upset? Kind of thing happens so frequently in the cups up here that I’m not sure you can call it that. Bottleneck of clubs trying to get up and shite constantly getting away with it is staggering.

Beggars can’t be choosers I guess Renfrew v Stirling Albion, Scottish Cup 2nd Round

Time to activate plan B, Renfrew v Stirling Albion it is

Amount of times I’ve gone to Maccies or KFC or got on a train and everyone’s just left their rubbish is a national embarrassment. Clean your shit up, it takes a matter of seconds.

Not been to the GIS in 3 weeks and if the Tamworth game doesn’t get rearranged for 7th November I won’t be there for another 3 weeks. Has anyone on this planet ever had a better 6 weeks?!
