Most online creators can’t really “get away with” a cheating scandal. With actors we don’t care because we assume they are already cheating anyway, but you will never truly recover in the public eye if your content is called “The Darkest Video Game Iceberg“

she lying bro thats what that scene is telling you, thats why the movie begins with nathan directly saying he thinks she chose him bc he wouldnt understand the biotech + the machine she pulled out isnt Theranos 1.0 its a prototype of Theranos 2.0, shes double lying in that scene
Okay I lost it at the part where Elizabeth Holmes tried to explain her magic biomarker assay machine by telling Nathan that it worked by connecting to the CLOUD(MAGIC IN THE SKY PANACEA)AND THE CLOUD GIVES IT ADAPTIVE INSTRUCTIONS and the device is a platform that is theory capable of running any test(provided the chemistries for the tests are developed) sorry I can't forgive this film

very funny how YCSE focused so much on the alleged quote by holmes about creating a character and her being like i Never did that and then she spends the entire documentary acting her ass off creating a character

she got to be in "The Return" with David Lynch. i'd say she chose wisely to avoid being tied down by the marvel machine
Amanda Seyfried says she turned down Guardians of the Galaxy because she thought a talking tree and raccoon in space would ruin her career
"I think turning down Guardians of the Galaxy was just I mean, it’s it was so obvious to me at the time. I’m like, this is not going to be a hit. Like they’re talking, the tree and the raccoon are talking to each other. They’re in space. And also they’re all in space. Yeah. And I was just like I I this will ruin my career if this is bad. And there’s a high chance that this could be bad"
"I mean, obviously I was wrong. But I still don’t take back that decision. I made it for myself. I made it for my my family that I knew I wanted to have. And I and I just don’t want to spend all the time in the makeup trailer"
"I just I I I I don’t I can’t sit still anyway. Um and I really don’t like stunts and I don’t like heights and I don’t like pretending the entire world. I need something to hold on to"
"Not saying it’s not. It’s just not for me"
I mean theranos is obviously all smoke and mirrors. The film is about how futile it is to try to understand the mind of the magician behind it

I couldn't understand the plot of Camp Miasma. Not because of the writing, but because when Gillian Anderson showed up sounding like Dolly Parton I blacked out for about 2 hours
