Grok Bot, Dot, or Hermes Bot? It's hard to say.... GrokBot is truly a great tool, but even with a $200/mo plan my 6 agents burned through a weeks worth of tokens in about 4 hours. Dot has a way to go, but I like how I can have it do anything/everything and it doesn't touch my usage for the week so I'm more comfortable leaning on it for harder tasks. Hermes Bots are a great middle ground to GrokBot and Dot, especially when you power them by GPT Sol 6.1 on high or a better model. Since Dot doesn't touch my weekly usage on ChatGPT I use the actual tokens for Hermes. Bottom line, they're all fantastic and have their uses, I suppose I just need to spend some time figuring out what I can have GrokBot do that won't burn up a weeks worth of tokens by just asking it to communicate with the other bots to perform a task.

SENTINEL is the next chapter of The Elder Scrolls. An incredible way for @BethesdaStudios to mark 40 years of building worlds that speak to millions of players across generations. Congratulations to the team, past and present.

Did some quick math today. 1. A $14,000 RTX 6000 Pro rents for $3.39/hr. 2. That is $29,696.40 per year. 3. The average adult globally makes $23,000 a year (adjusted for purchasing power). We just crossed a crazy line where one graphics card has higher economic value than a human being.

As someone with a Nvidia RTX 3060 and a RTX 3090, it is infuriating to know there is more performance just waiting to be unlocked that i can't access. It's half a decade-old card and a lot of us cannot afford anything else. Local AI is now booming, and we have software wizards finding ways to squeeze everything out of existing hardware. But you can make the biggest impact, like @superalesha says, it might goes against your business model, but you would be doing all of us on Ampere or Turing cards a huge favor and helping push local AI forward. cc @linusgsebastian
Dear @nvidia, a friendly ask from a guy running 4 of your 3090s and 1 of 3080 Ti. The 30 series is 6 years old. You dont make these cards anymore. Maybe its time to hand them over to the community completely. My post about unlocking the 3090 got 270K views in a day, and the replies are the real story. People asking about the 4090, 3080, 3060 and 2080 Ti. People asking how to do it on Windows. Others listing what the community already patches on these cards: the NVENC session limit, P2P between GPUs. Thousands of people are digging through your old cards with kernel modules, 1 setting at a time, because they love this hardware and want everything it can give. Publish what is limited on consumer Ampere and Turing. Ship an official driver switch for older generations. Or just open it up. I understand the business side. Some people might keep their old cards longer instead of buying new ones. But it would be a huge gesture. You talk about local AI on stage, you ship open models, you sell DGX Spark for home. This would show the care goes all the way down to a used 3090 under someone’s desk. Give them to us. We will do the rest: benchmarks, guides, models tuned for these cards. @NVIDIAAI

$300T in real-world assets is coming onchain. Not “if.” When. The moment it does, lending markets become the backbone of everything: liquidity, leverage, yield. LOAN Protocol is built for that future.

Fun fact: In the early days of SpaceX, Fridays had a different sound, or rather, taste 😋 The company had a wonderful tradition: after a week in which everyone was making the impossible a reality, on Fridays, SpaceX would order ice cream for all employees of the company, paying for the order with a corporate card. The interesting thing was that no matter what position you held, whether you were a rookie or a vice president, you would go get ice cream for everyone and bring it to the office. Later, a tradition arose to stay in the office after work to play Quake, where employees could beat each other or Elon Musk, who would set impossible tasks for them all day and demand their completion🤣 All positions and hierarchies remained behind the door, in the game, everyone was equal. That's how SpaceX and Elon entertained their people. That's how they brought the team together, with ice cream, a game, and the feeling that everyone is equal.
