Hi hello!
A friendly reminder that should Twitter come crashing down under the weight of one man's unbearable ego, you can always chat books and nonsense with us on our Discord server: discordapp.com/invite/ubHX6P…
And you can always find us at thefantasyinn.com/
I just have a lot of feelings.

Anyway, here's a random essay about choosing favorites that I (Kop) wrote:

Happy birthday to our very own @SharadeeReads! She's a little older and wiser(?), and we're lucky to have her at the Inn.
We review Harley Quinn & The Joker: Of Sound Mind, a fun (and thankfully not Joker-centric) podcast from DC, Realm, and Spotify.

We review Malevolent by Harlan Guthrie, an audio drama following a blind private detective possessed by an otherworldly entity. Murder mystery, dark cults, and unsettling horror!

We review Adulthood Rites by Octavia Butler, the fantastic second entry in the Xenogenesis Trilogy.

We review Quiet Part Loud, an intriguing audio drama from Monkey Paw Productions and Gimlet Media. It's timely, unsettling, and a fantastic listen.

We have something special for you today — A guest post from the one and only @mytholder on the nature of Endings in stories!
"The real world doesn’t work like that, of course. Lives have second acts. History doesn’t end; events flow into each other."

Have you read The Sword Defiant by @mytholder yet?
If not, the cabbage has written up a lil something to talk you into it!
"We talk about settings feeling 'lived-in' as a bar for good world-building, but that phrase feels like an understatement here"
