Troy will host Butler in the first round of the playoffs Friday. When the two teams met earlier, Troy rushed for 460 yards and Butler threw for 441 as the Trojans prevailed, 45-31. For both teams, defensive adjustments from the first game will be key, obviously.

I’ve seen an insane amount of lousy calls this seeking. That “rough the kicker” call in the @BYUfootball vs @UCF_Football was among the worst. #letthemplay

This @BYUfootball vs @UCF_Football game feels like an old school WAC game. College football rules so hard. #WACfootball #CollegeFootball

Xenia had been the most likely opponent for Troy in the first round, but Stebbins upset Xenia 14-7 tonight, so Troy won’t be playing the Buccaneers. A rematch with Butler could be in the works

Troy finishes the regular season 8-2 and is headed to the playoffs for the 10th year in a row. Troy will host a first-round game. We’ll need to wait and see how some more games shake out before we know who they play. When I know, you’ll know.
