Directors wise, Ridley Scott attempts tells more in depth driven stories. It may not always be successfully done but the attempts are made. Cameron, as good as he is, doesn't do that. His are more action centered which isn't a bad thing but a preference.

While I'm splitting hairs, the original is slightly better in my opinion.

I’ve found the coolest form of Physical Media (4K, Blu-ray, etc.) maybe of all time. Been hunting it for a while, and it’s absolutely ridiculous but awesome. Reminder to own all your movies physically. Anything you “own” digitally, you don’t actually own.

1/5 Why do some classic films look so different on 4K Blu-ray? Because a restoration is not just “scanning the negative.” It is a new translation of a photochemical history: camera negative, lab work, prints, timing, color decisions, damage, grain and decades of previous video transfers.

Welcome to comics and their related properties
Can someone please explain to me why other Avengers like captain America, Bucky and others didn’t come to New York to help resolve the Jean Grey Menacing issue? Or is there some sort of boundary restriction guidelines for superheroes?

With ease, no. Able to? Yes People forget she legitimately has the power to rewrite reality to her will.
If Jean Grey wasn't able to control Spider-Mans mind, do you think wander would do so with ease?

😂
So you’re telling me The Hand, this centuries old ninja cult that fought Daredevil, Elektra, Iron Fist, and literally tried to resurrect dragons is now taking orders from the Department of Damage Control? 😂 Bro… unemployment must’ve hit them HARD. PS the action scene with them was 🔥 but still 😂 #spidermanbrandnewday

Putting an essential live action version of an animated one that came first is a wild choice. I'm sorry but most #SpiderMan fans knows that the Spiderverse films are leagues above the Holland ones.
Every #SpiderMan movie ranked from worst to best: 11. "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" 8. "Spider-Man: Far From Home" 6. "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" 5. "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" 3. "Spider-Man: No Way Home" 2. "Spider-Man 2" Read the full list: variety.com/lists/spider-man…

Here's why I personally still prefer Tobey as Peter Parker/Spider-Man. The core difference comes down to narrative freedom. Tobey Maguire’s films succeeded because they were self-contained character studies about responsibility, consequence, and sacrifice.

I do really enjoy Garfield and if he had gotten the same treatment as Tobey, he probably would replace him. Holland has grown on me especially in the latter two films. Unfortunately, I feel his downfall will always be that he's in the MCU and his films will be connected to that

Each one of Holland's villains have some connection to the bigger MCU and that hurts his story in my eyes. If one says otherwise, that's fine with me.
