(1/2) We seem to put this out constantly, but could you please put your details on your submission. We receive hundreds of stories and there are lots with only the story title and not even a name. Stories are saved and then when we go to read them there are no details at all...
(3/3) Meg Stokes, Eirin Thompson, Sally Waterbury, Beth Watson, Alexis Wolfe, Helen Yuretich.
Available from supermarkets, DCT Shop and Amazon!
Good morning! We're looking for very traditional pre-Christmas, Advent, Christmas and New Year stories for our weekly issues. Can be historical or contemporary. Around 2000 words preferred, but 3000 also welcome.
Hello! Just a quick message from the Fiction Team. We receive a HUGE amount of stories. We download them into folders for reading and it takes up precious time if we open your story and there are no details on it. PLEASE put your details at the top of your WORD document.
Calling all authors! We're currently looking for stories set in August onwards for our weekly, and from late autumn onwards for our Specials. We're also now ready to read Advent and Christmas stories to feature across all 'Friend' publications. All genres and word counts!

I've had the BEST day visiting the offices of DC Thomson in Dundee, where my weekly soap opera Riverside is published in @Thefriendmag The magazine is a powerhouse and I wouldn't be the writer and author I am without it.
