All of the #Patawans are bring engineers this week! 6th grade egg rockets, 7th grade balloon cars, and 8th grade roller coasters.
These are the weeks I enjoy, watching lesrning come to life with ingenuity and creativity. I cant wait to see final products. @ForestMeadowMS
8th grade #Patawans bring you Physics! Students are doing roller coaster, bumper car, and viking swing labs to demonstrate Newton’s Laws in practical systems. Students are learning how to use CPO devices, make precise measurements, and follow a scientific procedure. #RISDDreamBig

GT 7th Graders did a diffusion lab, observing food coloring dissolving in water of varying temperatures. @RISDScience

Introducing our new 6th grade GT #Patawans at @ForestMeadowMS learning about density. They were challenged to choose 3 liquids and make a density column, which they then dropped a die into it and had to explain how that occurred. They did amazing! I love the way it turned out!

The 8th grade #Patawans kicked off our learning with a steel wool ignite! Literally, ignite. Students burned steel wool to see the effect on mass.
