Nintendo has started sending DMCA takedowns over datamined Switch 2 games, according to CentroLeaks. After weeks of jailbreak progress and game file leaks, this was inevitable. Claims that Gezine made the exploit untethered remain unconfirmed. DMCAs might slow things down, but once games are dumped, there’s no putting them back in the box.

Phantom Blade Zero reviews are in and they're kind of insane. - Metacritic 88 - OpenCritic 91 IGN gave it a 9 and called it "unbelievably smooth," GamesRadar is calling it a GOTY contender, and TheGamer, PCGamesN and Wccftech all went full 10. The one outlier is Eurogamer with a 6, saying balance and quality issues dim its shine. I think this ends up being the surprise action game of the year and S-GAME just earned a LOT of trust.

Phantom Blade Zero wants a BIG chunk of your SSD. The official account just dropped the PC checklist. The game is about 145 GB, and they're asking you to keep at least 300 GB free just for the pre-load. SSD install is required, and they want you on the latest GPU drivers. Pre-load opens Oct 26 at 7 PM PT and the game unlocks Oct 28 at 7 PM PT. 300 GB free for a pre-load is wild. I think half of PC players are about to start deleting old games tonight.

What kind of illness is this?

Impressive work by the modders. The base PS5 can apparently run 60 FPS in QUALITY MODE. It proves that some 30 FPS locks are software limitations, not necessarily hardware limitations. Even smaller games sometimes lock the standard PS5 to 30 FPS, only to run at 60 FPS on the PS5 Pro. So, are developers told to deliberately hold back performance on the standard PS5 to sell more Pro consoles? Or maybe due to heating issues, imo.

Rockstar might lock GTA 6 to a global release time on both PS5 & Xbox Series X|S. The review embargo is lifting on November 18 at 6 AM EST (rumoured), raising the possibility that New Zealand players might not be able to launch the game earlier. Not official yet.

Debra Wilson says she’s tired of seeing Debra Wilson in games too, being so honest about it. The Wolverine team even wanted to scan her real tattoos. Her answer was "Now you're pushing it." She told GameSpot she doesn't "necessarily dig" getting her face scanned into characters because it makes it hard to suspend disbelief. Amanda Waller in Suicide Squad, Grace Walker in Wolfenstein: The New Colossus, and now Callisto in Marvel's Wolverine. And to people sick of her face, she said "I feel the same." That voice is fine. But I think doing every character model 1:1 is not necessary, people will get bored and annoyed.

GTA 6 could be the last most-hyped game in history. Years of rumours, leaks, delays, and anticipation have turned this into something bigger than just a game. There will be other massive releases, but I don’t think any human-made game in the coming years will ever top this. Not even GTA 7, IMO.

GTA 6 reviews could go live on November 18, a day before launch. ResetEra leaker BlackBate claims Metacritic scores could drop around 6–7 AM EST. Rockstar hasn’t confirmed anything, but I think written reviews will drop first, followed by spoiler-heavy videos on launch day.
