On Friday, we met with the Club President (Ollie) from the Rotary Club of Westhoughton who kindly donated purple Crocus bulbs. We will plant them when we return to mark World Polio Day. When the purple flowers bloom, they will remind of of the debilitating disease and how there are ongoing attempts to eradicate it around the world- raising awareness and support can help make polio the second human disease in history to be eradicated.

Well done to Turing Team for winning the House Team cup this half-term. They really embody the value of ‘Progress’ and work so hard to demonstrate this in all areas in school life. It’s a great way for team mates from all year groups to get together and get to know each other and have fun at the same time! #proudheadteacher

Breakfast ✅ Ready for our last activity before heading home. We’ve had a great time so far

Ending the day relaxing around the fire and toasting marshmallows.

This week we had a special ‘Musical Showcase’ where the children sang and share their pieces they have been learning in their Music lessons. It was amazing to see the children be so brave and perform in front of the rest of the school. The Gates definitely has got talent!
