I never loved this type of distinction, either visually or lore-wise. That's why in Biomancer almost every institution is dead or rotting, and everybody is more or less neutral but looks absolutely evil.
"Almost certain most of the people who signed up for my guild just wanna fuck my brains out.
I just wanna kill monsters with friends.."
"Power-Creep Guild! Our first expedition has been announced! We are going somewhere special to deal with a Vampiric Dragon! Isn't it exciting?
We must travel go it's Manor overlooking it's cave and defeat it's lieutenants first or we cannot slay it.
We leave in three days!"

Itโs exactly what it looks like.
Yeah you better lock comments.
if I recall correctly, this film was made in part to counter tim burtons racist statement of black people not fitting his "aesthetic" which is such a baller move honestly. this movie looks beautiful and kat herself oozes charm
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Tim Burton did not say Black people don't fit his aesthetic. In 2016 he said diversity should fit the story, citing Brady Bunch tokenism. Wendell & Wild development started 2015; Peele wanted a Black lead for kids like him to see themselves.
