In my 7 years (close to 8 years) playing Apex, I've never felt like the anti-cheat system was so helpless and vulnerable to a new wave of cheaters. I also saw, for the first time, cheaters changing their position numbers and claiming the “Predator” rank for themselves. EAC has been good all this time… I hope they improve Javelin 🙏🤞
Thanks Apex Fam 🫶
That's it from me, at least for now. I won't be casting at Vegas, and seems unlikely going forward.
What a time huh... 🥹 I'm super proud of what I've achieved with Apex esports. I'd dreamt of making a living from esports for a long time, and regardless of what happens next, Apex made that dream come true and I'll always be grateful for that. I loved it, I lived it, 365 days a year for the last 5+ years. Passion goes a long way.
I made it to 10 LANs, including every EA-run ALGS LAN to date, and had the privilege of casting or analysing the finals for every single one of them.
Apex is such a killer esport. It has all the ingredients to become an even bigger success than it already is. Never a dull game. A sublime combination of micro & macro. Always someone to cheer for - Apex esports is at its best when it's celebrating that diversity of talent from around the globe.
Shoutout to all the awesome players & coaches that have given me time over the years. It was great being able to share some laughs, pick your brains, and share some of that brilliance with the world.
A special thanks to all of the Aussie pros, I have followed many esports over the years, and to my mind, Apex is THE most successful Australia has ever been at an esport. Being able to tell those stories and being along for the ride at the same time was incredibly fulfilling 🇦🇺
To the beautiful talent team, what a crew. Every event felt like getting paid to spend a week with friends. You are all my Roman Empire 🥰
I've still got a lot to say, about Apex, about casting & the wider esports industry. I've spent all of my time in these past years trying to be the best caster I can, as well as thinking about broadcast improvements working with Long Shot & EWC. Perhaps now I'll have some time to look into learning some editing/content creation and share my thoughts that way. Hopefully you'll see me pop up somewhere else, but the reality is esports opportunities are few and far between right now.
I'd love to put my hefty amount of passion and experience to work somewhere in the industry. I'm open to talent roles (esports award + emmy nominated btw), broadcast/production roles (most innovative Apex broadcasts to date btw) or even to try out some aura-farming (coachless teams plz enquire). Email in bio for any inquiries, or reach out via DM. Happy to have a chat with anyone who thinks I could help 🙂
TL;DR Won't be casting again any time soon. Esports man for sale to highest bidder. Apex still the best esport

A little over a year ago I made a tweet saying how I wanted to reach the highest rank in multiple games. I know Timmy is doing this but something is different. I am doing this as a 33 year old where the stipulation is gamers above 30 cant hang. I want to prove we still got it. Hope you guys will join me on this journey of showing Uncs can still game at the top level!

We have LOST THE PLOT in Apex Legends. Ranked has ZERO feeling of a Battle Royale..
EVERYONE just grabs loot from 1 bin and rushes to the next POI, either dies or immediately dies to 3rd party after…
It’s like the ENTIRE playerbase is hypnotized into just dying on repeat and repeating the same mistakes early game.
Theres no strategy, no thinking, no map awareness, no teamwork. It’s instantly turn your mic on AFTER your team dies to flame others on how little damage they’ve done..
Might take the cake for the most braindead experience in all of gaming. How can you play ranked with ZERO communication with your team?

Cheaters in my ALGS quarter finals that have been banned from scrims for wallhacking and aim botting. I tell the ALGS admins and they say they don't care about scrim clips of people hacking. These guys run down the lobby just aimbotting and the admins dont care lol sick game

I’ve been wanting to get more into variety for a new YouTube channel I’m working on. This channel is going to be new
/old games, challenges, and ofcourse apex content but focusing more on “content” than just pop off videos.
So tomorrow I’m going to be starting Halo for the first time 😅. I know nothing of the Halo story and never looked at videos so it’s a completely fresh and new experience! Looking forward to y’all hanging out 🙌🏼

Finally, this is BIG for Discord 🔥
If you can’t find the setting once it rolls out, go to Discord Settings and use their search bar to find “Game Mode”

It’s been 8 days on roller and this is what I have to say so far.
Mid range and long range is harder than the pros make it look, seriously impressive after playing roller.
Close range is strong but it’s more the ease of adjustment of moving a thumb rather than your whole arm/hand + obviously aim assist.
Looting and moving hasn’t been that much of an issue but I see why movement is the counter argument for those on roller, it’s not tapstrafing but more so the tiny movement things if that makes sense.
Overall, I’m glad I’m doing this challenge. It’s frustrating but I’m seeing how the other side really is. Hot take kind of, idk if “pros” need aim assist but I now know the average player does need some level of assist to keep up. Maybe less aim assist but not completely 0.
Also. Roller brain is real.

Repost: Ew, drama! Nasty. I’m gonna keep it brief. My VOD is up explaining the entire timeline start to finish and why everything happened the way it did. I won’t be talking about this on Twitter after this.
Take me back to when Apex didn’t have abilities that killed you in the click of a button.
Back when bad positioning would actually punish you and you couldn’t run across the map to craft your team mate and reset.
When gun skill was more important than the characters you ran.

Idk wtf happened, but it feels like the Apex skill gap closed more in the last 6months than the entire last 2 years. Everyone shooting like demons man 😭

Apex Legends used to be a great game.
I owe virtually everything I have to it, the power to pay bills with video games, the confidence to continue to game on stream and do this for a living.
However, that game most definitely has lost it's way, Hal is NOT wrong & instead of bitching, I just left. The core of Apex is what was so awesome, the gun first->ability second aspect, that is long gone.
Force it back by actions and words if that's even possible, but do not get mad at each other pretending like the game you are playing is good, the good in Apex is competitive, the ability spam you are playing is anything but. You won't lose your developer and creator relationship by telling the truth, you lose it by being disrespectful at the same time.

Genuine question for the Apex Devs.
The community actively has communicated how Seer is broken and has provided enough proof as to why. So my question is why do you guys let obvious broken things last this long with 0 change. Who's stopping y'all from making quick changes?
