EV public charging costs now exceeding those for petrol and diesel
I was an early adopter and have had a home charger for many years, which I combine with cheap night-rate electricity.
If I didn’t, and couldn’t, I would give up.

The first obituary I have ever written for The Irish Times goes ‘most read’ on the website. I think it is down to the Flatleys’ fame, rather than anything else. But what a lovely woman, and such a loss to those who loved her. Niamh Flatley, RIP.

She also couldn’t locate a measuring tape, didn’t know how to measure a chainsaw chain. So I rang @screwfix customer care and the man said staff have no training in the stuff they sell. That’s it. They don’t.
Just dropped in to @ScrewfixIreland in Bray to get a chain for the saw. They couldn’t measure the chain I brought in. She asked for help from a colleague and he shrugged. So she turned her screen to me asking me if I knew. Wow.

Good overview by @TheIrishTim on M7/N7 traffic congestion, which is my commute.
Much caused by “incidents” which means ‘human error’ or mechanical failure - it would be good to know if common locations and ‘which lane’ is identified by @GardaTraffic and TII?

This morning at 8.am about to go to security at T2 . A woman in front dropped €50 notes.
I called but she did not turn and @DublinAirport staff man put his hand out. Said he would announce on screens. An hour later, I’d seen nothing. Someone when home poor🧐
