Imagine AI as a new part of our city infrastructure. An outlet in your home that you plug into that gives you access to massive data processing centers powering AI. Metered like electricity or water use.

Working on a smart calendar that adds companion tasks for events that might require planning (for things like birthdays). It's not helpful to know someone's birthday is TODAY. It'd be great if you got little reminders leading up to it to purchase a gift or make a reservation.

I think the real winner in all of this agent building stuff is @xyflowdev 😅

1,000 days of sharing beautiful UI work is INCREDIBLE! Way to go, Jordan! Now take a break 😅👏🙌
Day 1,000 ↓ Made with @UntitledUI I've been struggling with what to post today, and so busy with the React library that it really crept up on me (I'm writing this at 1:43 AM 😅). So, I thought I'd just design something I genuinely enjoy designing, in a style I enjoy designing with. Thanks for all your love and support over the last 1,000 days. This community is something special. Love you all and see you on day 1,001 💜

This absolutely drives me crazy @Google. This thing is always in my way, never goes away fast enough, and I loathe it. I get it. I'm onboarded. I don't need this coaching hint anymore. Make it go away.

AI is funny, because you don’t always notice how it changes your daily work. When a company says XX% of work is now handled by AI, most people think AI took away XX% of the tasks. But often, it means the amount of work getting done has increased.

What does that look like day-to-day? A designer generates variations instantly, a marketer drafts campaigns faster, and customer service reps handle more cases without burning out.

So “XX% done by AI” doesn’t usually mean fewer people working. It usually means the same people are now delivering more. Better quality, increased output, or simply the capacity to tackle new problems.

Can I send multiple messages to @Replit, back-to-back, even while it's still processing a previous request? Sometimes I notice UI errors while it's working and I'd like to just correct it when I see it, even if the agent is still working on the previous request. @ReplitSupport

Will AI-generated apps become the new single-use plastic?

Predicting a whole lot of feature bloat in all software in about a year or two as businesses lean into AI assistance for engineering. Suddenly that little idea you had is “easy” to implement. Reminder: Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

Any roadmap for nested folders @figma? That would be SUPER helpful to us.

There’s been a lot of discussion lately about @figma and the role of design, and given my deep work in AI, I wanted to share my perspective. AI’s progress is nothing short of remarkable, but full trust in these systems remains elusive without explainability, observability, and real-time monitoring. As models grow in complexity, their decision-making processes become increasingly opaque, making it harder for users to understand, predict, or challenge outcomes. Without clear visibility into how AI reaches its conclusions, concerns around reliability and accountability persist. Transparency isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s utterly critical and a fundamental requirement for adoption. Trust is built on confidence, clarity, and control. This is where UI and UX design must continue to play a defining role. Designers aren’t just responsible for making AI usable—we’re responsible for making it understandable. The real challenge is bridging the gap between the black-box nature of AI and human intuition. It’s about crafting experiences that don’t just feel like magic, but also instill confidence in how the magic works.
