this was my exact thought. the absence of the Japanese perspective in the movie is part of what drives the entire point home; Hiroshima and Nagasaki only exist in these men’s distant imaginations, devoid of material reality, like faraway planets. It’s so unsettling.

Saw a thing where people where sharing embarrassing work stories and a girl said when she got her first waitress job, someone ordered champagne and she thought it was standard to shake and spray the bottle at everyone like an F1 driver as that's the only reference she had.

THROWBACK THURSDAY - to the Live At The Amadeus series!🎙️
One year ago @gusrobertsonpresents curated #LiveAtTheAmadeus. It was a series of 5 concerts featuring music ranging from blues, jazz, gypsy, gospel and spiritual rhythms and rhyme presenting some of London’s musicians.
I'm looking to programme an exciting theatre production for @_theamadeus next 'Live At The Amadeus' double bill evening of theatre on the 22nd September 2023. 5 days of free rehearsal space to develop the show and a box office split.
