The names that built American manufacturing are iconic. Slater, who brought the mill. Lowell, who integrated it. Carnegie, who scaled steel. Ford, who set the line in motion. Deming, who taught the world quality.
The forces of production that once built America are rebuilding America again. This is one of the most important economic and national security imperatives of our time.

If someone asks you how much a single baby's life is worth to the United States Air Force, tell them about the night an American fighter squadron scrambled a supersonic interceptor for a five-month-old boy.
On December 23, 1986, five-month-old Andrew Baumann was dying of heart failure in California after his parents had already lost his baby sister to the same condition.
Near midnight in Fargo, North Dakota, a donor heart finally became available, but the civilian medical jet broke down on the freezing tarmac with the four-hour survival window ticking away.
Civilian doctors could not ride in a fighter jet without ejection-seat training and high-altitude pressure suits.
Sixteen minutes after a desperate 2:00 a.m. phone call to the North Dakota Air National Guard, First Lieutenant Robert Becklund climbed up the ladder of a McDonnell Douglas F-4D Phantom II.
He strapped a red-and-white plastic cooler holding the tiny heart directly into the back ejection seat.
At 3:06 a.m. on Christmas Eve, Becklund blasted off alone into the dark winter sky and pushed his twin-engine fighter close to six hundred miles per hour across fifteen hundred miles.
He touched down at Moffett Naval Air Station at 4:43 a.m.
Even after seven and a half hours outside a body, that tiny heart beat strong inside Andrew's chest, and the boy grew up to graduate college and get married.
A superpower is measured by how fast its deadliest machines fly to save its smallest citizen.

"This is a serious problem we've had with a population who's been ordered removed where nobody had the willpower to deal with it even though some of these people were rapists and murderers. And President Trump came along and we decided we were going to fix this problem. @SecRubio deserves a ton of credit for this. It is so difficult to get a country to accept people who are not their own, especially serious criminals. It requires a lot of capital." @DHSGenCounsel

I’ve heard progressivism described as sitting in a long traffic line, getting a green light and letting someone from a side street merge in front of you. Yes you’ve done good by the guy you’re looking at, but you didn’t even think about the guys waiting in line behind you.

My mom had 19 children and spent the majority of her life trying to give us the best childhood possible! We got the whole crew back together to surprise her for her 60th birthday 🎉
Happy birthday, Mom! A caption can never describe just how much you mean to us all, but I pray this is your best year yet 🤍

Billy and Jenny did not have to lose their lives. This illegal alien should NEVER have been in our country, let alone driving on our roads with a CDL.
The unimaginable losses that our Angel Families suffer from are ALL preventable, and we will never stop fighting for their justice.
This is our why.
NEW: ICE’s Victims of Immigrant Crime Engagement (VOICE) office has released emotional video showing Angel Mom Elizabeth Carter confronting the Indian illegal alien semi truck driver who is charged with killing her son and his newlywed wife in a crash in Oregon last November.
The exchange happened as ICE was transferring RAJINDER KUMAR to state custody in Oregon earlier this month to face charges of two counts of first degree manslaughter and three counts of recklessly endangering another person as a result of the crash. ICE gave Carter a chance to speak to KUMAR in an ICE vehicle before the transfer.
ICE says they had arrested KUMAR after law enforcement in Deschutes County, OR ignored their detainer and released him from custody in April.
Kumar had been caught and released at the AZ border by the Biden admin in November 2022 and was given a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) by the state of California.
In the video - an emotional Carter says:
“Hello Mr. Kumar. My name is Elizabeth Carter. I’m William Micah Carter’s mother. And I wanted you to know that I pray for you and your family, I know you didn’t get up that morning planning to kill two newlyweds. And I know your family is going through something important too.”
Kumar largely avoids eye contact and doesn’t say anything.

Ms. Rachel genuinely doesn’t deserve a platform. She doesn’t possess any sort of critical thinking skills, so truth in her eyes is whatever fits her social agenda.
In reality, this is such a non-story. Some 3yr old kid (Nevada) was reportedly hogging the ball, not being rotated, & pushing other kids around on the field. And when one of the parents went to a ref to complain, Nevada’s parents caused a huge scene and got into loud verbal altercations with other parents.
The police got called. The police declared it a civil matter & left. So the league asked Nevada & his parents to leave, & they left.
But of course, Nevada’s parents couldn’t leave it there. They went to social media and claimed Nevada, a 3yr old child, was kicked out because he was “too good”. And Ms. Rachel, being the abject moron she is, bought the story and amplified it. Shame on her.
Ms. Rachel invites a 3-year-old Black boy to her show and calls on sports teams and soccer stars to step up, celebrate his talent, and help him after a viral video shows him being kicked out of a soccer game by police for being too good ❤️👏
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Police were called by the league director on the mother’s unruly behavior (following him, calling names, filming), not because the child was too good. 911 call and bodycam confirm this; “too good” is the parents’ claim amid a play-time dispute.

THE CEASEFIRE HAS COMMENCED
The ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia took effect at 4:00am Moscow time on October 27, 2026.
Timing was accelerated two days ahead of schedule to protect the safety of civilians and to facilitate the delivery of critical humanitarian aid. The ceasefire’s geographic area has expanded beyond Oleshky, within the Kherson Region, to provide safe passage for the humanitarian convoys.
General Valery Gerasimov, Joint Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces has confirmed.

So grateful that this clown is being ratio'd so hard
"People are interchangeable cogs" is such a dehumanizing worldview
Replying to @rwlesq
FWIW, "You don't understand the incentives!!" only works if you care about disincentivizing illegal immigration. I think a certain amount of illegal immigration is a good thing. People are jumping up and down about fertility decline after all. Adding a couple million people per year through immigration - people who are immediately ready to work - seems pretty useful.

I was going to complain about the heat today, BUT then I realized....
It isn't 120 degrees
I'm not 5,700 miles from home
I'm not dressed in full uniform
I'm not carrying 70+ lbs of gear
There is little chance of me driving over a bomb today
Thank you to all those that serve!

Here's a bit of trivia info:
@DataRepublican and @DataInterpretr have worked together for years. When my daughter is required to present or be interviewed, they spend quite a bit of time preparing and going over notes together to make sure they get it exactly right.
Years ago, when Jennica went to work for Snapchat, they started providing interpreters for her at meetings and such. Just about every interpreter refused to return because the language that they were required to interpret was so technical and unfamiliar.
BUT, @DataInterpretr, hung in there. She found it fascinating and was willing to put in extra effort to learn the vocabulary. In fact, the two of them invented signs for some of the "tech" terms that have become mainstream in the deaf community today.
And the bonus is that they are great friends in real life. It's truly a God thing that they found each other. I couldn't be more proud of them both.
