We have the story, a lot hints in canon and mostly hope that they want to heal the myth so we will know eventually. I would say 2027 is a date to keep in mind because its the 50th anniversary of SW. You can bet that people will go to theaters like crazy if they announce a new T.

I bet that after the stories told between ROTJ and TFA people will be on Ben Solo side and will know why TROS bittersweet finale was so unsatisfactory, and why the story most likely will continue and resolve happily at last in Eps. X, XI & XII. 2027 is a date to keep in mind.
Plans for the scrapped Season 2 of THE ACOLYTE have reportedly been revealed:
• Season 2 would have had a 1 year time jump
• Osha would duel a Hutt in a gladiator arena
• Yoda is training Mae to help her find Osha
• Qimir works directly with Darth Plagueis
• Throughout the season, Qimir and Osha are tasked by Plagueis to assassinate key figures
• 2 flashbacks would reveal more about Qimir’s training under Vernestra Rwoh
• Qimir’s base is in a mansion, where he is served by a snarky droid
• At the mansion, Darth Plagueis appears as a hologram to guests but is secretly inside like a vampire hidden deep in the shadows.
• Plagueis constantly tries to have Qimir bring him Osha. Qimir refuses and the two duel, with Qimir almost killed.
• Osha saves Qimir and brings him to a Force deprivation pool where the two would have had the closest thing Star Wars has had to a sex scene.
