Dem comms staffers desperately need to learn that the politician's account should sound like the politician, not like a bad imitation of a third-rate influencer the staffer happens to like.

What people don’t realize is my beloved Milwaukee Brewers, whom I have loved for approaching 24 hours, are up 2 games to none vs the most unethical baseball team ever assembled

BOB COSTAS: “God himself helps those who dare" is a phrase we've all pondered over when reading Ovid's Metamorphoses. Today, eight Major League Baseball teams will dare to be great like Daedalus and Icarus did eons ago above Crete. ANTHONY RIZZO: I like the Phillies in 3.

MLB: We’re the oldest sports league in history. Fandom is passed down through generations like an heirloom. People can live their entire lives and only see their team in the playoffs a few times. There is such magnitude here. Also if you work at 1 pm on a Tuesday you’ll miss it

Now @AshleyMoodyFL. Why would I want to abolish the police when I want you arrested and in jail for stealing $10 million from sick kids? BFFR

So you're telling me people want to read interesting, well written stories that aren't listicles even if they're long????
Per a note to Boston Globe staff today, the lesbian bar story generated 1,000 subscriptions to the paper yesterday. The Globe’s managing editor said it was “by far our best performing story of the year,” and appears to be “on pace to shatter all sorts of Globe records.”

Quick question: What the fuck?
So I was just watching Fox News and this commercial played during Jesse Watters show. It says “Paid for by the US Government.” This is clearly a campaign ad. And the singers are just singing over and over again, “Love me” - over images of Trump. @CBSMiami @CBSNews

Everyone from fellow journalists to Jeb Bush is praising Brendan for being a professional and decent soul. The same guy the DeSantis admin targeted so abusively and inappropriately that his spokeswoman got suspended from Twitter for it. axios.com/local/tampa-bay/20…

I was at Chad's last performance earlier this summer. I could see his family sidestage watching him do what he loved one last time and taking it all in — I think he's waving to them in this clip. We should all be so lucky to get one last moment like this with the ones we love.
On the morning of September 20th, Chad Everett Gilbert passed away peacefully in his sleep. He left this world surrounded by friends and family and took his final breaths with his wife and mother by his side, just as he wished.

I do not want this night to pass without me proclaiming my solemn oath that, come hell or high water, I will avenge @BSFarrington for what @ChristinaPushaw did to him. Others won’t say it but part of his passing is on that ghoul. Come. Hell. Or. HIgh. Water.
Drag them?!?!? Has a press secretary ever spoken like this about reporters? How can you be OK with this, @AdrianLukis @tarynfenske? One say you all won’t work for DeSantis (trust me, it happens to everyone who works for him) and you will need relationships w/press.

If you walked around town with Brendan, it was common for him to greet the homeless - by name. And I know of one particular night he chose to spend a night out on the street because he felt that’s where he needed to be to help. That’s just who he was.
One simply cannot write a description about Brendan without using the word kind. It is the first thing that pops to mind when thinking of him.
