Yesterday I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. I'll have to take medications for the rest of my life to deal with my thyroid producing less hormones than average. Sucks this happened in my 20s instead of 60s.

watching people larp enjoying tomboys is like watching folks try to ruin a hobby
you shouldn't be trying to change tomboys!! stop trying to make them girlier! don't force them into dresses or tell them they'd look better if they'd just put one on! let them be TOMBOYS!! 💢

Both horrible contries with high crime statistics as they are cartel controlled hellholes.

One reason I like titanfall, getting into the mech suit isnt a metaphor for dehumanization or childhood trauma

In Cyberpunk AI becomes so powerful the Internet has to be ran on local networks cause the rogue AI’s mutated into dangerous entities so humanity has to trap them within The Blackwall.
Which is a AI barrier that protects our world from the old network. I guarantee you this will be the plot of the next game.
Seems like that’s where we’re headed tbh in real life too

Well, here’s a thing that some people need to understand about Trauma Team they’re not really bad guys but they can’t afford to save you if you don’t have the platinum, it sounds cold, but that’s how Night City runs. I would recommend checking out one of their comics.

“Yep. That about sums it up.”

So let me get this straight: you have a felony conviction, survived fentanyl addiction, and have objectively experienced circumstances worse than ~98% of the population and you now turn around and advise young white men in an objectively better situation to, once again, throw their lives away for what? your admiration?

wholesome search and rescue tech will also come with a payload delivery system that will bring hikers snacks that weighs exactly 3kg
Purdue University's IDEAS Lab built an autonomous drone that tracks runners through dense forests completely without GPS or cloud networks.
By running 3D LiDAR mapping and obstacle-avoidance AI entirely on-chip, it can weave under tree canopies and predict target movement through blind spots in real time.
Massive implications for next-gen search & rescue and edge AI.

The sexual revolution is so obviously a failure that no one even tries to defend it on its own merits anymore, they only seek to imply it did not happen and is not happening and men collectively and simultaneously decided to change our behaviour for no reason
Its kind of funny to me how men all want to be the prize now. Women used to be pursued, now men want to be the ones pursued. They want to be chased. They want the girls they find beautiful to think he’s out of their league. The old man trope of “I’m lucky she puts up with me” and he had to fight for his life to win her over just isnt worth the effort to these guys. You can blame their opinion that they think women arent worth it but it seems more like learned helplessness. Men were dying in war while getting Dear John letters. It cant possibly be worse now. I think its some hormone issue. Theyre literally willing to just roll over and die than put any effort in.
Im trying to picture it.. the loser in a village of 5 women his generation who are all spoken for already. He has no prospects. No phone to harass women on twitter, no girls to groom on discord. Its bleak. Your village has a few other single guys and they’re going to pillage another village. You go fight with your tribe but you wont take home a war bride. The one you could get was already a mother. “Gross. Sloppy seconds and who knows what else? Id rather die alone.”
Now you dont even have to risk dying to abduct women from somewhere else. You have millions of them on your phone. You just have to figure out the right string of words to get them out. “No” he says.. “they should be begging me for a chance. I refuse”

I feel like the true ending to this DLC is Song dying after trying to escape, with you by her side. The whole theme of the DLC is in the very title: Phantom Liberty. Each character is trying to escape the situations they've placed themselves in, including V. And they all have to come to realize they can't escape the decisions they've made. Each one is trapped by their own decisions, to finally meet the consequences of actions, because there is no liberty from it. Liberty from consequences is just a phantom.
The whole DLC seemed at least to me, to be not escaping your end but how you face it. Each character chooses differently, none of them get what they want and each is basically a personified aspect of V's character, the different ways V is dealing with it. Her flying off to the moon to get cured flies in the face of the theme. It's constantly telling V you can't outrun consequences, you can't fight or steal or lie your way out of it, no matter how much you want something or how sad you are. It's how you face your fate that matters. Songbird represents V's need to survive overcoming everything else. Willing to use anyone and anything, sacrifice anything, hurt as many people as needed just to save yourself, constantly telling yourself you didn't deserve it and you can use whoever you want to escape as long as you're sorry for doing it.
I think the themes of the DLC only work when nobody escapes. Reed's only choice is to walk away having lost everything, something he never wanted to do. Myers expresses a desire to be free from her position, responsibilities, that she's more alive than she has been in years running around shooting shit with V but she can't escape because ultimately she craves that power. She knows it's killed her soul and doesn't care because she has power in the end but she's ultimately trapped by it. And songbird ended up pushing the limits, chasing the next big gig to test herself against and got herself tangled up (she dies tangled in wires) with powerful organizations and ultimately something beyond herself that is now slowly destroying her (sound familiar V?)
For the whole theme of the DLC to work and what it's trying to show V, that nobody can have that escape. That there is no: if you just try hard enough, want it enough, fight hard enough, lie hard enough you can squeeze your way out of paying the cost for your actions. Otherwise the DLC would just be called Liberty: if you just sacrifice enough people. It's Phantom Liberty because escape from what you're facing, from consequences, from your own actions, from death...is just chasing a phantom. There is no escaping it, only how you face it matters in the end.

I chose to hand over So Mi at this point because it's simply what my V would have done, which is a sign of a fantastic game when I'm thinking via my character and not by me.
I typically always play the girl scout, pick the "right" decisions but Cyberpunk had a way of doing that.
