Rodri shouldn't be talking to anyone re performance

If this was written by a good friend…I wouldn’t want to his/her enemy.
I knew Owen James for many years, and we were good friends. He was a very good journalist and significantly changed the formatting of financial news on television.

Nuff tings a bother me bout Barca this year
Flick stubbornness
Lack of alternate tactics
Yamal mentality fluctuation
Pedri and Rodri pairing
Raphina post injury
Lack of quality defenders
Gordon not better than Rashford
I am convinced not trying to win against PSG mash we up

I’m always the one people come to when they’re in need, but there’s never anyone available when I’m in need

Every aspect of Barça’s performance needs to be addressed. The defence has been a major problem, but the players (especially up-front) can’t keep wasting chance after chance either.
They’ve repeatedly failed to take their opportunities, and it’s cost them.

When Lamine has a bad game and Rapha plays as a striker, our attack is basically dead. Gordon isn’t playing badly, but he offers nothing at all and can’t decide a game or take over a flank. He simply can’t make the difference the way Rapha can as a LW.
We used to dominate one flank with Rapha and the other with Lamine. Now we dominate neither. Moving Rapha to striker means we need an elite winger to replace him. With Rapha and Lamine on the wings, we created enough chances that all we needed was someone to finish them. Now we struggle to create anything at all, our attack has actually gotten worse.
So don’t ever tell me again that we don’t need to sign a striker. If we want to win anything, we need Rapha back on the wing. That’s why I was only okay with signing Gordon because they sold us the dream of signing Julián.
And don’t get fooled by Neal Gardner just because he said Gordon did more than his job today. Since when is being average the standard at Barça? With that mentality, we’ll never win the Champions League. We could’ve done so much more with that €80m.

Last two games genuinely feel like a best friend stabbed me in the back. Genuine betrayal. This team had me thinking this was an all timer level team in the making. First two televised games and they went missing. Only a UCL final should keep Flick next season.
Can't retweet because I'm blocked but this tweet sums it up perfectly. We have to stop avoiding the elephant in the room because he's cute and from La Masia. Also, his Spain performances don't count for shit in club football so don't even bring them up.

Flick has to learn to be less aggressive in the first half of the season. For example, it‘s okay to tell your players to slow down and sub off Yamal and Raphinha if you‘re already leading 3-0 50 minutes into the game. The fatigue is what costs Flick normally

Having a lot of second hand embarrassment for that girl who stayed 6hrs and got dressed in kfc to attend an event

In the span of 4 days we’ve had Cancelo not watch his blind spot. Martin passing to Mbappe. Cubarsi getting spun by Camavinga is by far the most embarrassing one. Any mid table CB shields Camavinga off the field but my CB got spun by 43 pace shitty Camavinga.

letting this fucking dog shit team dunk on us is completely indefensible bro. We coulda went 9 clear and we chose to shit the bed. I'm not defending anyone today. Everyone can eat shit

The worst thing is that I just knew we were gonna concede at the end when we dominated the entire 2nd half. Because we can never be flexible and just use our brains. We have to defend 2 against 5 in the last minute while we are not even losing. Would getting a draw and staying on +6 kill us?
Gerard Martin made a very excuseable mistake for the 1st goal but more than made up for it in the 2nd half with some key tackles on Bellingham and Mbappe.
But what Cubarsi did at the end was inexcuseable. Keep the same energy for both players and be objective.

We signed him to raise the level of the team in games like this, his performance today was embarrassing to say the least.

You won’t go far in the Champions League with this backline.
First two real tests of the season so far, and we’ve seen what’s been exposed. Hopefully the board realizes it now.

The vast majority of culers praised this transfer window. 3rd year in a row the board has massively failed Flick and the potential of this squad.
