BST first proposed in 1907 by William Willett, great-great-grandfather of singer Chris Martin. He wanted to encourage people to get out of bed earlier.' @coldplay can you explain all that to Mush, cos he's driving me crackers to go on a walk, a fucking hour earlier than usual...

A venerable vocal Friday Red Wine Three from @TheMumper. Loved the 'Individualist Waltz' opener and 'Sans Toi’ from 'Cleo from 5 to 7' is gorgeous but this Pentangle film closer not only features the great Danny Thompson on bass but a drummer’s hands close up. #DrummersUnion.

'This handsome furry boy is 5 today. What joy he brings every day. This evening he was at his happiest with a box full of paper to shred, more exciting than his new cuddly octopus. Happy birthday Mushey boy. We love ya very much' x

Our pals at BBE are having to go through a process that is inherently dumb. But they shall prevail. Of this l am sure. And be assured that @TheMumper and all of us at @ThisisClobbered will be putting our collective shoulder to the cause alongside them.

I’m less than 24 hrs back from a glorious trip to Seville and @TheMumper’s ‘Friday Wine Three’ has Sonny Grey doing big band in Barcelona and Cecil McBee’s ‘Voice of the 7th Angel’ but I’m saluting Roland Kirk & Jack McDuff tonight (I bought Kirk’s last album whilst in Seville!).
