Will McDonald IV - Probably our āprizedā trade asset.
Jamien Sherwood - Iād be surprised if a team actually called about him, but pull the trigger if ANYTHING is offered.
Isaiah Davis - I donāt want to see him go, but I feel like he deserves a chance to play more snaps
Brandon Stephens - Another one of those āanything you can getā scenarios
2027 NFL Draft Prospect Profile: DT Xavier Gilliam (Tennessee)
*PSA* He is the most disruptive down-to-down DT I have evaluated since I started in 2020 š£š„

Colin Simmons: Rocky Top, Sky-High Ceiling
A record-setting Tennessee performance highlights the Texas starās potential to become an NFL cornerstone.
My biggest takeaway from Colin Simmonsā 2026 matchup at Tennessee is simple: he has the upside to become an NFL defensive centerpiece. His school-record 5.5 sacks on September 26 showcased the disruption that makes him a top-10 candidate for the 2027 NFL Draft.
That performance deserves attention, but my evaluation extends beyond one afternoon. Simmons has produced 31.5 career sacks across 35 appearances at Texas, averaging 0.90 per game. His progression from nine sacks in 2024 to 12 in 2025 established a foundation before this seasonās acceleration.
Through six appearances in 2026, Simmons recorded 10.5 sacks, averaging 1.75 per game. That represents an 89.6% improvement over his 2025 sack frequency. His current pace also sits approximately 110% above my 15-player historical top-10 edge baseline of 0.83 sacks per appearance.
Context strengthens the evaluation. Tennessee accounts for 52.4% of his season sacks, making that extraordinary game a substantial influence on his average. Still, five sacks across his other five appearances and sacks in five of six games demonstrate production beyond the headline performance.
My NFL comparison is Houstonās Will Anderson Jr. I see a similar disruptive edge identity, with the potential to pressure offenses and become a foundational defender. Matching Andersonās complete-down impact will require greater consistency setting the edge, separating from blockers, and expanding his counters.
For me, Simmonsā ceiling is a premier NFL pass rusher. The Tennessee performance revealed his takeover potential; his sustained Texas production gives that projection substance. Continued development could make him a franchise cornerstone for years.

Ah yes! So he can set the team back even further. Give it up pal.
No positives from this Jets loss.
Brutal from every aspect.
Thatās it. #JetUp
On the flip side, I think the Dolphins are in fantastic hands.
- good, competent coaching staff
- super young core
- good, tenacious young players
- competitive football
- (probable) top 5 pick
The future is bright in Miami š„š¬
First and goal on the 1 millimeter line, and we end up with 4th and Goal on the 15?
Shoot Frank Reich
Halftime notes & thoughts:
- If Iām G5, Iām requesting a trade at halftime
- Aaron Glenn couldnāt get a defensive game plan together against a bowl of wet noodles
- Greg Dulcich = Prime Gronk, apparently.
- Barely and D-Line push at all
- STOP dropping WMD in coverage, I beg
you.
- PUT A SPY OUT THERE.
- Shotgun Handoffs need to be outlawed.
- Omar Cooper Jr., good.
- Braelon Allen, good.
Overall, disgraceful. You want to be take seriously? Make an adjustment at halftime. LETS GO.
Prove me wrong, show some fucking GUTS.
