Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra, the sacred Chariot Festival of Lord Jagannath, is one of India's oldest and most revered spiritual celebrations. Observed annually on the auspicious day of Ashadha Shukla Dwitiya, the festival commemorates the ceremonial journey of Lord Jagannath, along with His elder brother Lord Balabhadra and sister Devi Subhadra. This symbolic journey represents the Lord's divine outreach to all humanity, transcending barriers of caste, creed, religion, and nationality.
The magnificent procession, with the three deities seated on their beautifully decorated wooden chariots, is accompanied by devotional singing, chanting, music, and the enthusiastic participation of millions of devotees. The act of pulling the sacred chariots is regarded as an act of immense spiritual merit, symbolizing the devotee's earnest effort to draw closer to the Divine.
Rooted in the timeless traditions of Sanatana Dharma, Rath Yatra embodies the ideals of compassion, equality, service, and universal brotherhood. More than a religious procession, it is a celebration of faith, devotion, and the enduring message that the Divine belongs to everyone. Today, inspired by the spiritual legacy of Puri, Rath Yatra is celebrated with great devotion in cities across India and around the world, bringing together people from diverse cultures in a shared spirit of love, harmony, and devotion.
Under the benevolent guidance of Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy Ji, the sacred Rath Yatra is celebrated with great devotion at the Sai Ka Aangan premises this year on 16 July 2026, 3Pm onwards.
We warmly invite you and your family to be a part of this auspicious occasion and seek the divine blessings of Lord Jagannath.

Renowned spiritual leader Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji inaugurated the Magha Saptami Mela 2026, organized by the Saura Bramhan Parishad under the auspices of Bishwa Bhratrutwa Divyatma Parishad. The ceremony took place at the sacred confluence of the Prachi River, a historic site revered for Sun worship since ancient times. The Parishad has been conducting the Surya Yagyan annually since 2011, with Kailash Chandra Mohanta serving as President and Nimai Charan Das as Trustee. The event marks one of the region’s most significant traditional observances dedicated to Lord Surya. In his inaugural address, Dr. Satpathy ji recalled the spiritual history of the site, noting its connection with Shamba, the son of Lord Krishna, who is believed to have performed penance here to cure himself of leprosy through Sun worship. He observed that this devotion continues to draw thousands of devotees each year to offer prayers to the Sun God during this auspicious period.Reflecting on the universality of the Guru’s presence, Dr. Satpathy likened the Guru to a mother whose compassion and nature remain the same, whether in India, Africa, America, or anywhere else in the world.Highlighting the universality of Sun worship, Dr. Satpathy ji stated that reverence for the Sun is found across religions and spiritual traditions, signifying its timeless and inclusive essence.
As part of the Puja rituals, 27 stars are worshipped beginning from Shamba Dashami and culminating on Magha Saptami. A chariot procession of Lord Surya travels from Ananta Abhdut Math (Guru Math) to Chotram Math (Shishya Math) and ceremonially returns after the completion of Magha Saptami Puja, signifying spiritual continuity and devotion.

The festival of Lohri was celebrated with great enthusiasm across northern India today, marking the end of winter and the onset of the harvest season. At Sai Ka Aangan in Gurgaon, the occasion gained added significance with the gracious presence of revered spiritual leader Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy ji.
The celebration began with the evening aarti, followed by Dr. Satpathy ji lighting the sacred Lohri bonfire amid chants and devotional fervor. Devotees participated in the traditional puja, offering sesame seeds, jaggery, popcorn, and peanuts to the flames — a symbolic gesture of gratitude and prayers for abundance and well-being.
Lohri, deeply rooted in agrarian tradition, holds special importance for farming communities, particularly across Punjab and Haryana. It heralds the harvest of rabi crops and is also dedicated to the Sun God, invoking blessings for prosperity and renewed energy.
As the bonfire blazed against the winter night, its warm glow reflected the collective joy, hope, and spiritual optimism of the community — carrying prayers for a fruitful year ahead filled with happiness, good health, and prosperity.
