My girlfriend cheated on me with the landlord’s son. I lost my relationship, my apartment, and my job.
Eight months ago, she lost her job and couldn’t afford rent, so I moved her into my apartment. I paid for everything: rent, food, transport, subscriptions. Literally everything.
After growing suspicious, I finally caught her sleeping with the landlord’s son, who had just returned from abroad. I was furious and fought him.
She disappeared for two days. On the third day, I received a notice to vacate. I later discovered the landlord’s son had used his influence to get me kicked out.
That same day, my ex sent her friends to pack her belongings. I broke down. After everything I’d done for her, I couldn’t believe she’d betray me like that.
Then I discovered the landlord’s son had also helped her get a new job.
I eventually found another place, but it was too far from my workplace, so I had to resign and start job hunting again.
Yesterday, I finally got an interview. I walked into the room, looked up, and froze.
My ex was one of the people interviewing me.
I was so angry that I thought I’d ruined the interview. But this morning, I received an email offering me the job.
I desperately need the money, but how am I supposed to work somewhere my ex has power over my career?
I honestly don't know what to do. 💔

My neighbor sponsored his 26-year-old younger brother to the UK in 2024.
The younger brother would always complain about how boring and lonely life was in the UK, but my neighbor kept encouraging him.
“Don’t worry, you’ll soon get used to the environment.”
He eventually completed his master’s degree last year.
After that, he approached my neighbor and asked if he could help sponsor his girlfriend to the UK too.
“Bring your girlfriend to the UK? That won’t be possible. She should ask her family members to run that for her,” my neighbor replied.
His brother insisted that if my neighbor refused to help him bring his girlfriend over, he would leave the UK and return to Nigeria to meet her.

Early this year, his younger brother returned to Nigeria without informing him. He rented an apartment and started living with his girlfriend.

Last week, a man and his fiancée visited our lab.
He insisted he was perfectly fine and that his fiancée was the one who needed testing, seemingly blaming her for their fertility struggles.
After being persuaded to take a semen analysis, he was found to have very low sperm concentration and poor motility, while her results were largely normal.
He later disclosed heavy smoking and excessive alcohol use, both of which can affect sperm quality.
Please test BOTH partners. Confidence is not a diagnosis, and infertility is not just a woman’s problem.

Omo, something happened yesterday that genuinely made me happy. 🥹❤️
A friend I once helped back in school, who’s now based in the UK, called me yesterday to help him sort out some things here in Nigeria.
He didn’t send money for it, so I used my own money to handle everything without expecting anything in return.
Later, he reminded me of a conversation we had last month when I mentioned that my house rent was due.
Before I knew it, this guy sent me ₦200,000 to support my rent. 😭❤️
Mind you, I never asked him for money, and I haven’t even paid the rent yet.
Omo, that thing touched me. Not just because of the money, but because he remembered something I mentioned casually weeks ago.
Having people who genuinely think about you is a blessing.

I advised my friend that it was risky to live with a colleague when she needed a flat mate, but she ignored me, and being that she is her senior colleague at work . Back in 2010 when I was in SS1, my close friend moved to the US. His dad literally sold one of their properties in Ikeja to fund his move. He was the kindest guyeveryone loved him.
Fast forward to 2026. He has completely blocked his entire family on WhatsApp and won't answer their calls.
Yesterday, his dad called me asking if I've heard from him, begging me to persuade him to "settle down and marry."
Meanwhile, I'm looking at his WhatsApp status right now: he’s getting married to a man in the US next month.
The family has no idea. His dad is waiting on my reply.
