After that we can start to build the team. I swooned when he drafted Mack, Carr, Gabe, and Jelly in the 2014 draft. I thought we had it. Whatever it is. It was the awakening of a dormant franchise. The Silver and Black we’re back, baby! Then we weren’t.

I remember being naive and young when Reggie McKenzie got the GM job. I boasted proudly of our “plan”. A complete deconstruction, and it takes time to clear out the rubble, I said. It’s a four year plan, we have to fix the salary cap issues and then build a foundation.
