Remember the first computer filled an entire room ..
5 yrs from now this will become nothing i guess. Models will become smart, efficient & fit well in a regular pc/laptop. Aggressively quantized ones obviously

Tried Opus 4.8 for a few hours now.
Feels like the good old days of Opus 4.6
Introducing Claude Opus 4.8: it builds on Opus 4.7 with sharper judgment, more honesty about its own progress, and the ability to work independently for longer than its predecessors.
Available today at the same price.

A slow, clanky robot just outworked your night shift.
@Figure_robot ended a 9-day livestream of humanoid robots sorting packages.
250,000 packages moved.
One every 2.88 seconds.
200 hours without complaining or breaks
And this is the worst these robots will ever be.

THIS DAD VIBE CODED A LANGUAGE LEARNING APP FOR HIS DAUGHTER THAT LETS KIDS POINT THEIR CAMERA AT ANYTHING AND LEARN THE WORD
he made it so his daughter could point her phone at anything around her and learn the word for it
you take a photo of an object, the app removes the background, identifies what it is, and teaches you the word in whatever language you're learning
the ui and animations are clean, polished, and the app is easy to use
he started building it for his kid and got obsessed with making it perfect
the app won an apple design award which is one of the hardest things to get in the entire iOS ecosystem. apple picks like 12 apps a year out of millions
it went from a dad building something for his daughter to one of the best designed apps on the app store

I wrote 30 SOPs in one afternoon using Claude. My ops team thought I hired a consultant.
Every small business has the same problem: the process lives in someone's head. When they leave, the process leaves with them.
Here's how I fixed it in 4 hours:
1. Brain dump: sat down with each team lead for 15 minutes. Recorded the conversation. Asked them to walk through their 3 most important processes step by step.
2. Transcription: fed the recordings into Gemini. Clean transcripts in 5 minutes each.
3. SOP generation: gave Claude each transcript with one prompt: "Turn this into a step-by-step SOP. Include prerequisites, tools needed, common mistakes, and a checklist format. Write for someone doing this task for the first time."
4. Review cycle: each SOP took 5 minutes to review and tweak. Claude got 80% right on the first pass. The remaining 20% was edge cases only the team lead would know.
5. Formatting: Claude exported each SOP into a clean template with headers, numbered steps, and callout boxes. Consistent formatting across all 30.
30 SOPs. 4 hours. $20 in Claude Pro costs.
The alternative? Hire an ops consultant for $15,000 and wait 6 weeks.
I packaged the exact prompt template, the SOP format I use, and a priority matrix for deciding which processes to document first.

I automated 90% of my client onboarding with 3 AI agents.
Total setup time: one afternoon.
Before this, every new client meant 4 hours of busywork. Intake form, proposal draft, welcome email, calendar booking, CRM update. Repeat 8 times a month.
Now the agents handle it:
1. Agent 1 (Claude): reads the intake form, pulls out scope, budget, and timeline. Drafts a custom proposal in my voice. I review for 5 minutes.
2. Agent 2 (Gemini): takes the signed proposal, generates the welcome packet, SOPs, and project timeline. Drops everything into a shared folder.
3. Agent 3 (n8n + Claude): sends the welcome email sequence, books the kickoff call, updates the CRM. Zero manual input.
Total cost: under $80/month for all three.
32 hours of onboarding busywork per month, gone.
I wrote up the full breakdown: which agents, what prompts, how they connect, and the exact n8n workflow config.

I replaced $4,000/month in freelancer costs with 5 AI tools.
Not "theoretically." Actually cancelled contracts and moved the work.
Here's what handles what:
1. Claude: client proposals, SOPs, internal docs. Writes in my voice. I edit maybe 10%.
2. ChatGPT: research briefs, competitive analysis, summarizing long calls. Fast and broad.
3. Cursor: every script, automation, and internal tool my business runs. No developer needed.
4. Perplexity: replaces the research assistant I used to pay $25/hr. Sourced, cited, fast.
5. Gemini: processing large spreadsheets, cleaning data, pulling patterns from messy CSVs.
Total cost: under $150/month for all five.
I put together a one-page breakdown of exactly how each tool fits into the workflow, what prompts I use, and what I stopped paying for.

Developers making their monthly migration to Claude Code from Codex
We’ve agreed to a partnership with @SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity.
This, along with our other recent compute deals, means that we’ve been able to increase our usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API.
