In the last 3 seasons.... 1. Odunze = 14 yards per catch 26 TDs 2. Nabers = 15 yards per catch 21 TDs 3. Bowers = 14.5 yards per catch 31 TDs 1. Odunze = 7 rushes for 56 yards 2. Nabers = 6 rushes for 30 yards 3. Bowers = 19 rushes for 200 yards I get that many want to just pigeonhole him as a TE...but he is so much more. In a Harbaugh/Roman system the offense is built around him and the run game. In fact i see us bringing in at least 2 new TEs. 12 personell will be well over 50%. And Bowers lines up all over the field. Herbert peppered his TEs 130 times last season. With a terrible YAC and drops. Bowers in this system would be over 100 catches and 1200 yards a season. I love all 3 and would be stoked with any of them...but the Bowers dissing is mostly based on a bad picture. And brains that are set on the classic role of the TE. He is so much more. I wish position players took the wonderlich...and we could see those scores. My guess is he scores off the charts. Probably the smartest and saviest positional player in the draft. And Harbaugh tried like hell to get him in college. Say what you want about him...i have no doubt Harbaugh loves his game. And has for years.
