Another day, another huge education improvement in Louisiana!
Today, the Education Scorecard ranked Louisiana FIRST among states in reading growth and second among states in math growth.
We are the ONLY state to surpass pre-pandemic levels.
Congratulations to the students and teachers who make announcements like these possible. Let’s keep leading the Nation!

Pro LA GATOR means pro student and pro family!
The results speak for themselves. It’s time to expand the success of this program!
I urge Louisiana lawmakers to support @LAGovJeffLandry’s budget proposal to expand the incredibly successful GATOR school choice program.
This expansion will empower more families and students across the Pelican State to choose the best possible education.

Proud to partner with @Tangischools to address their students’ ACT needs. Yesterday, I visited Sumner HS. I was incredibly impressed by their staff, specifically their willingness to truly partner and tackle this initiative together. #edu #act

“School Choice Reportedly Caused Graduation Rates, College Acceptance To Skyrocket In Louisiana’s High Crime Areas”
The LA GATOR Scholarship Program is simple — it gives students the opportunity to get the education that fits their needs. It’s just common sense. And the results speak for themselves—parents are happier, students are doing better, and it does it all at a lower cost. That’s what happens when you give families a choice. dailycaller.com/2026/05/01/l…
