BREAKING: Iran directly rejects meeting with the US after reviewing JD Vance’s letter, with Foreign Minister Araghchi warning that no talks will happen until Washington accepts all of Iran’s conditions, per Al Jazeera.
Araghchi said Tehran sees “no need to meet the Americans at present” and called talk of an imminent meeting “media speculation.”
He emphasised that Iran’s conditions remain clear—lifting sanctions, releasing frozen assets, and withdrawing US forces from the region. Only after Washington agrees to these conditions will Tehran decide whether talks are direct or indirect regarding the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

BREAKING: REPORTS OF US STRIKES ON IRANIAN TARGETS.
Over the past two hours, reports claim that the United States has carried out several military operations inside Iran.
• A US fighter jet reportedly flew over Qeshm.
• A missile site was reportedly struck.

These reports point to a serious escalation against Iranian territory.
Iran has repeatedly warned that its sovereignty and national security cannot be ignored.
Military pressure will not resolve the deeper conflict between Washington and Tehran.
The international community must not overlook the consequences of strikes on Iranian territory.
Every new attack increases the danger of a wider regional confrontation.
Iran has the right to defend its sovereignty.

The Pentagon is treating a rash of freezer malfunctions that affected refrigeration and freezer units at commissaries at several U.S. military bases in August as a suspected cyberattack, according to four officials familiar with the matter who spoke to Reuters. The Pentagon said a Cyber Command unit is “working in close coordination with interagency and law enforcement partners” in the ongoing investigation.
At least six on base commissaries were affected in late August, per Reuters’ review of base social media posts. In at least one case, the cooling units’ temperatures were raised overnight, resulting in spoiled food. Fort Huachuca, Arizona, posted that its freezer “went into defrost mode where it heated up all the food.”
One official said investigators have been in touch with French counterparts about a similar attack that hit more than 350 French supermarkets earlier this month.
