@surfshark wouldn’t use this VPN service. False advertising and overcharging, check your charges people. Bad customer service, no phone customer service, email support isn’t helpful. The vpn is nothing special and will be looking for another provider.
I will say Surfshark responded to this and handled it professionally and appropriately. They just need to have a discussion with their email support staff to understand a clients requests/issues better. They have a blank statement in response to issues, maybe it’s AI, but I was significantly disappointed in the email supports response. If I try to cancel a service that auto renewed for a year, HOURS after it was billed, they should be understanding that this is not a “gotcha!” moment and a refund should be allowed if the service is unused and asked for in a reasonable amount of time. Makes the company look shady with such a refund policy not in place. We all forget about auto renewals, it’s human, and should be refundable if appropriate.

Those are the warped public words of Professor Uju Anya.
Meanwhile, YOU, the American taxpayer, are funding Carnegie Mellon to the tune of $455 MILLION this year.
Professor Anya has a long, public history of unhinged racist rhetoric:
- “These f*cking racist, white pedophile assholes will not win.”
- “I meant every word I said in my tweets responding to white men. I do not retract or apologize. May they all eat shit.”
- “Choke and die painfully so I can find the ditch where they throw your body and p*ss on it.”
She’s still employed.
Carnegie Mellon supports these disturbing threats.

She was fired within 24 hours after a leaked Zoom recording revealed her discussing that many of her lowest-performing students at Georgetown were black.

Two educators who have publicly celebrated the murders of white American men, one of whom has repeatedly called for it.
Two schools that continue to have millions in federal funding poured into their hands.
Two “educators” entrusted with ensuring the safety and fair treatment of every student, regardless of race or religion.
Both are still employed and unleashed on students.
Our $79 BILLION DOLLAR Department of Education is CRIMINALLY silent. Not one action has been taken.
