The amount of time, resources, and risk that the IDF is taking to evacuate innocent civilians of Gaza is unheard of and unparalleled.
And guess what. Contrary to popular belief, the IDF is not doing it to improve Israel’s public image.
It is pretty clear to all Israelis, that if the world does not stand by Israel after the events of October 7, the world will never stand by Israel.
The reason the IDF is doing this is simple. The IDF has always been and will always be the most moral army in the world, by a huge margin.
Israel continues to open up humanitarian corridors in Gaza, while Hamas continues to open fire, both on Israeli soldiers, and on innocent civilians trying to evacuate.
Israel does everything it can to minimize civilian deaths on both sides.
Hamas does everything it can to maximize civilian deaths on both sides.
If you make an equal sign between the IDF and Hamas, you are a dishonest bigot who is part of the problem.

Does that make the Allies the villains of WW2?

Why?
The goal of war is for good to defeat evil
The Nazis were evil for invading Europe and committing genocide
Hamas is evil for attacking Israel and swearing to do it again and again until they have murdered all of the Jews in the region
Of course, targeting civilians is wrong (like what Hamas did on October 7), and that is very different from civilians dying because the morally good government is targeting military threats coming from the morally evil government that started the conflict (like Israel and the Allies)
