The reality of the situation is supporting new Black filmmakers and writers who will then cast more Black actresses and actors. Cause putting all your hope into white filmmakers to cast beyond the one token in their shows or films is a fools errand.

Holy crap, I don't know why I'm shocked but glad she doesn't have to do this anymore. Our Black afro hair in every curl pattern is nothing to be ashamed of.
Attempt number 3?
Got my sibling for backup 😬😬😬😬😬😬 #LetsWatchSomeScaryMovies #REC

In this classic Mended Light Healing video I take a look at grief and mourning in the all-timer Buffy episode "The Body."
Stripping away the supernatural elements, this iconic episode focuses on the aftermath of a major character's death from natural causes and the helplessness felt by everyone else to stop it.

Have you seen this episode? What do you think of its portrayal of grieving?

Name a movie or show, that became an entirely different experience when you watched it as an adult?

The ‘special occasion’ you’re looking for is your everyday life. How you spend your morning, who you spend your time with, what you spend your attention on and how you spend your energy. These are your real resources, so spend them wisely.
You cannot look to these public figures as a morality guide. Their perspectives are just as warped as anybody else's.

I miss movie trailers when the narrator sounded like he was warning you about the movie.
