Shout out to the staff at @My_Metro working tomorrow, no idea how they manage to stay so cheerful and helpful during #greatnorthrun day
Hi @TheSpineRace my bird site searching is failing.. I think a none tea drinker once asked what the theme music to the videos was and it was something along the lines of inspirational corporate theme, any chance of a reminder of what the music is?
The @tracksmith Twilight 5,000m last night, after mistakenly trying to hold onto the 19:45 pacer the 20min pacer encouraging me to keep going as I went backwards...
I wrote words about Saturday’s adventure, easier to put it in a blog post instead a twitter thread as it would push the 600 limit: penguinpeloton.cc/blog/chevy…
#rotherham10k yesterday, another race which is an excuse to visit family (~4 hours each way means need a prompt to visit), it’s a hard course, start by running around Clifton Park and then onto the road to drop down into the town centre, out and back to Canklow, (continued..)
Happy with my run, under 45mins compared to the 47 on a much flatter course about a year ago, as I had no idea how the legs were post London. Next week’s Sutton 10k could be interesting.
Finally thanks to #RadioRotherham for the tannoy announcement when I lost my sunglasses
before the boss finished her run.
Finally thanks to Tina @KimmyStriders for the photo
Afternoon out, cheering on @striderscroydon club mates at the East Surrey Cross Country league meeting at Lloyd. Took some photos which are here: flickr.com/photos/fizban_of_…
Didn't just shoot Striders, here is @lapins86 well being @lapins86, @harrierscroydon and every other club included in the album
Took a “few” photos at the Surrey Masters cross yesterday while out supporting @striderscroydon club mates, album is here flickr.com/photos/fizban_of_…
I'm sure if #gnr2022 plays the theme from Local Hero a bit of dust will get in my eye
