The difference is that those 3 Doctor's are inherently flawed characters and are presented as such within their eras where as 13 is presented as this pilar of virtue from which all good morals flow despite doing some really dodgy stuff.

The Day of the Doctor is incredible because not only do you get impeccable performances from Matt Smith, David Tennant AND John Hurt, but they are all given plenty of screen time to flesh their characters out. It really does stand alone as the best multi-doctor story.
