HALFTIME:
UNCW 51
UNCG 45
The Seahawk offense already looks like it’s in mid-season form as Makel Smith has 11. The defense has been very shaky throughout the half.
10 minutes til they go back to work!

Seahawks allowed 49 points in the first half at High Point, and 45 today vs. UNCG.
UNCW allowed an average of 32 points in the 1H last season and only allowed 45+ once.
UNCW leads 51-45 at the half.
Siddle, to Marty, as he heads off: "We're not defending worth a damn."
Halftime message: "Do what goes into winning — and that's defending and rebounding, and we're not doing it."
Glad to hear CJ Luster finding some rhythm today. Had a really rough one at High Point and couldn't get anything to fall.

UNCW 31
UNCG 26
Defense could use some work but the offense has been firing on all cylinders.

UNCW leads UNCG 17-13, 11:52 1H.
Based on the @RadioMikeV call, sounds like both Xavier Brown and Tyler Nelson have both knocked down 2 3-pointers already.
Xavier Brown was a career 34-percent 3-point shooter before coming to UNCW.
Seems he's been working hard on that, because he's knocking them down with confidence in the preseason.
Xavier Brown, Makel Smith, Gavin Walsh, Tyler Nelson, Patrick Wessler getting the start today.
Interesting.
No stream or live stats today, but we do have Mike V back on the radio broadcast!
Join us TODAY for our first @uncwmenshoops broadcast of the year when the Seahawks host @UNCGBasketball in their final exhibition game. Our coverage begins at 11:45AM on 95.9 FM The Breeze (959thebreeze.com) and the Sunrise Radio App. Hear from @CoachSiddleUNCW during the pregame show. #TidalTown

A special thank you to Dr. Tyler for the incredible role he has played in Head Coach Lo Hoyer’s breast cancer journey as her surgeon! 💗
And thank you to Elon for the beautiful flowers and heartfelt show of support for Coach Hoyer! 💐

Exhibition games are just that, but whew boy, that's a wild score for Drexel. Giving up 83 to Lafayette is very un-Spiker. #caahoops

Bouncing off yesterday's graphic, here is the highest ranked player/players in each conference this season. Not necessarily who I would take for POTY in every league. Players depending on a waiver marked with an asterisk.

Side note…first team I signed with out of college was with the Brewers.
The rundown on P4 teams to play in Trask.
Four in past 25 years, with the two recent coming thanks to McGrath's relationships with Roy Williams and Jerod Haase.
Wake was home/neutral/away, and Colorado was a home/away that coincided with UNCW's trip out west for a tourney.
