Coming back to Twitter after a few years, this shit is everywhere.

there is a very interesting marketing strategy being utilised by a lot of top crypto casinos
and it’s shtting on your competitors publicly, promoting their problems and cons
some examples:
- a casino lied about their house edge and it can statistically be proven it’s higher than advertised, resulting in unfair losses
- a casino blocks someone’s big withdrawal, asks for kyc and holds money for days/weeks but has no problem processing a deposit
- a casino gives someone a daily withdrawal limit when they win big, with the idea that the player will gamble and lose most of their winnings
- a casino pushes fake profiles at the top of their leaderboard to stop real players being rewarded a large amount
the idea is you then promote these problems publicly and make it go viral, while indirectly pushing your site as the solution
every casino fights for the best reputation, the industry is built on trust and transparency.
one of the best ways to do this is to discretely push this marketing angle through alt accounts, partnered companies, streamers and being infiltrated within the overall marketing strategy
it’s not easy to do and honestly as someone watching from afar it’s very impressive to see, some of the top 10 casinos killing it with this method

It's worth noting that when we released the game back then, quite a couple of popular sites in the scene had the same standard. Years passed, things changed, but since Towers isn't a very popular game for us, this went below the radar.
Nevertheless, we've always operated with integrity and we're glad this is now resolved.
Following our investigation, @500Casino has corrected the Towers paytable to a 5% house edge and says it is paying back $1.74m to more than 35,800 players.
They say they found the same issue in HiLo and fixed that too.
Public disclosure, automatic refunds and a formula every player can check, within a day of our report.
Their total is lower than our estimate. They have the full bet history, we only had public data. We’ll add their figure to the report as promised.
What we’ve checked so far: the new Towers paytable is correct, and the refunds on our own account match the formula. Next we’ll test live payouts and update the report.
If you played Towers or HiLo on 500, your refund should show in the Compensation column of your game history. If it’s missing or doesn’t match, contact 500 and let us know.
